5. Installation Instructions

This fan is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps carefully. For visual guidance, please refer to the installation video below.

5.1. Prepare the Ceiling/Wall Opening

1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker before starting any work.
2. Use the provided drywall cutout template to mark the required opening size (7.68 x 9.25 inches) on your ceiling or wall.
3. Carefully cut the opening using a suitable saw. Ensure the opening is clean and precise.
4. If replacing an existing fan, remove the old unit and clear any debris or insulation.

5.2. Prepare the Fan Housing

1. Remove the duct connector from the fan housing by gently pulling it out.
2. Fold down the mounting tabs on the fan housing. These tabs help secure the fan during installation. Wear gloves when folding the metal tabs to avoid injury.

5.3. Install the Fan Housing

1. Insert the fan housing into the prepared opening.
2. Secure the fan housing to the ceiling joist or wall stud using the provided screws. Ensure the bottom of the fan housing is flush with the ceiling/wall surface. Pre-drilling pilot holes may be necessary.
3. Connect a 4-inch ventilation duct (not included) to the fan's air outlet. Secure the duct with appropriate duct tape or clamps to prevent air leakage.

5.4. Wiring the Fan

Refer to the wiring diagrams in Section 6 for detailed connections. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

5.5. Attach the Grille and Light Assembly

1. Connect the power cord from the fan housing to the grille and light assembly.
2. Pinch the two metal arms on the grille assembly and slide them into the plastic slots on each side of the fan housing. Release the arms to secure the grille in place.

6. Wiring Instructions

Proper wiring is crucial for safe and correct operation. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about any wiring steps.

• White (N): Connect to Neutral wire.
• Black (Exhaust): Connect to the fan switch wire.
• Gray (Light): Connect to the light switch wire.
• Green (GND): Connect to Ground wire.

The fan supports both double rocker switch (separate control for fan and light) and single rocker switch (combined control) configurations. Ensure the correct wires are connected according to your desired setup.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1. Fan Operation

Once installed and wired correctly, turn on the power at the circuit breaker. Use your wall switch to activate the exhaust fan. The fan will begin to ventilate the room.

7.2. Light Operation and Color Temperature Adjustment

The integrated LED light can be controlled via your wall switch. To change the color temperature (2700K Warm White, 4000K Natural White, or 5000K Cool White), simply toggle the light switch off and on quickly. Each toggle will cycle through the available color temperatures.

8. Maintenance
