1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Memorex MX-PJS100 Bluetooth Projector. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your projector. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper operation and to prevent damage.

2. Important Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on. The intense light can cause eye damage.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the projector. Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Keep the projector away from water or other liquids. Do not expose it to rain or moisture.
  • Use only the power adapter supplied with the projector.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the projector yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Projector Front and Side View

4.2 Projector Top View and Controls

The top of the projector features manual adjustment dials for focus and keystone correction, along with basic control buttons.

4.3 Input/Output Ports

The Memorex MX-PJS100 is equipped with multiple input and output ports for versatile connectivity:

  • HDMI Input: For connecting devices like laptops, gaming consoles, and streaming sticks.
  • USB Input: For playing media directly from USB drives.
  • AV Input: For connecting older devices using an AV cable.

5. Setup

5.1 Projector Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. The optimal projection distance ranges from 3 feet to 9 feet, allowing for screen sizes from 30 inches to 140 inches. Ensure the projector is positioned directly in front of your projection surface for best results.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the projector's power input port.
  2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. The power indicator light on the projector will illuminate.

5.3 Projection Screen Setup

The included 100-inch projection screen can be easily set up using ropes and hooks (hooks included, nails not included). Stretch the screen taut for a smooth viewing surface.

5.4 Focus and Keystone Adjustment

  1. Focus: Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the projected image appears sharp and clear.
  2. Keystone: If the projected image appears trapezoidal (wider at the top or bottom), adjust the keystone correction dial until the image is rectangular.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press the power button on the projector or the remote control.
  • To power off, press the power button again. The projector will enter standby mode.

6.2 Input Source Selection

Use the "Source" button on the remote control or the projector's control panel to cycle through available input sources (HDMI, USB, AV).

6.3 Bluetooth Audio Streaming

The projector features Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming to compatible Bluetooth-enabled sound systems.

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth speaker or sound system is in pairing mode.
  2. On the projector's menu, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select your Bluetooth device from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. Once paired, audio from the projector will be routed to your Bluetooth device.

6.4 Media Playback via USB

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the projector.
  2. Select "USB" as the input source.
  3. Navigate through the files and folders using the remote control to select the media you wish to play.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Projector Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens.

7.2 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners.

7.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for storage.
