Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Speaker Connection: Connect the two satellite speakers to the speaker output jacks on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) if applicable.
- FM Antenna: Extend the FM wire antenna for optimal radio reception. Position it away from other electronic devices.
- Power Connection: Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the main unit, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- Initial Power On: Press the POWER button on the main unit or remote control to turn on the system. The LED display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Press the POWER button (
) on the front panel or remote to turn the unit ON or OFF.
2. CD Playback
- Press the SOURCE button to select 'CD' mode.
- Gently open the top-loading CD compartment cover.
- Place a CD (audio CD, MP3 CD, CD-R, or CD-RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover. The unit will begin reading the disc.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE (
), STOP (
), and SKIP/TUNE (
) buttons to control playback.

3. Bluetooth Streaming
- Press the SOURCE button to select 'BT' (Bluetooth) mode. The LED display will show 'BT' and flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Search for 'MX-MCD200' in your device's Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the 'BT' indicator on the display will stop flashing. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the micro system.

4. FM Radio
- Press the SOURCE button to select 'FM' mode.
- Press the SKIP/TUNE buttons (
) to manually tune to a desired frequency. - To auto-scan and save stations: Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for a few seconds. The system will scan and store available FM stations automatically.
- To recall saved stations: Use the MEM- or MEM+ buttons on the remote control.
5. USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel.
- Press the SOURCE button to select 'USB' mode.
- The system will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, and SKIP buttons to control playback.
6. Aux-in Connection
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX-IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the SOURCE button to select 'AUX' mode.
- Control playback directly from your connected external device. The system's volume control will adjust the output level.
7. Clock and Alarm Settings
- Setting the Clock: In standby mode, press and hold the TIME SET button. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons to adjust hours and minutes, then press TIME SET to confirm.
- Setting the Alarm: In standby mode, press and hold the AL SET button. Use the SKIP/TUNE buttons to set the alarm time and source (CD/FM/Buzzer), then press AL SET to confirm.
- Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes.
8. Remote Control Operation
The remote control allows you to operate most functions of the micro system. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the infrared receiver on the main unit for proper functionality.
- POWER: Turns the unit on/off.
- SOURCE: Selects input mode (CD, BT, FM, AUX, USB).
- EQ: Adjusts equalizer presets (if available).
- REPEAT: Repeats current track or all tracks.
- PROG/MEMORY: Programs CD tracks or saves/recalls FM stations.
- PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP/TUNE: Controls playback and tuning.
- DIMMER: Adjusts display brightness.
- SLEEP: Sets sleep timer.
- FM M/ST: Switches between FM mono/stereo reception.
- AL ON/OFF: Activates or deactivates the alarm.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- CD Player: Keep the CD compartment clean. If the lens is dirty, use a specialized CD lens cleaner.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place.
