User Manual

1. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the AstroAI L8 Portable Electric Bike Pump. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the device.

  • Keep the device away from children.
  • Do not expose the pump to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Avoid using the pump in wet conditions or near flammable liquids/gases.
  • Ensure the correct pressure is set for the item being inflated to prevent over-inflation, which can cause bursting and injury.
  • Do not operate the pump continuously for more than 12 minutes. Allow it to cool down for at least 15 minutes after continuous use.
  • This pump is not suitable for inflating car tires, Segways, or electric scooters.

3. Product Overview

The AstroAI L8 Portable Electric Bike Pump is a compact and versatile tire inflator designed for various bicycles, e-bikes, motorcycles, and sports balls. It features a digital display, preset modes, and an auto-shutoff function for precise inflation.

The pump is equipped with a high-voltage motor for efficient inflation, capable of inflating a 700 x 35C city bike tire from 60 PSI to 80 PSI in approximately 35 seconds. Its lightweight and ergonomic design make it easy to carry and store.

Display and Controls

The LED display shows both real-time and preset pressure values. Control buttons allow for mode selection, unit switching (PSI/BAR), and pressure adjustment.

4. Charging the Device

The AstroAI L8 pump is equipped with a built-in lithium battery and supports Type-C charging. Before first use, fully charge the device.

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the pump's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will show a full battery.

A single full charge can inflate up to 25 city bike tires (60–80 PSI).

5. Setup and Valve Adapters

The pump comes with a Schrader valve hose and adapters for Presta and Dunlop valves.

Attaching the Schrader Hose

  1. Screw the Schrader hose securely onto the pump's air outlet.
  2. For Schrader valves, directly connect the hose to the tire valve.

Using Presta and Dunlop Valve Adapters

For Presta or Dunlop valves, first install the appropriate adapter onto the tire valve, then connect the Schrader hose to the adapter.

  • Presta Valve: Unscrew the Presta valve cap, then screw on the Presta valve adapter.
  • Dunlop Valve: Screw on the Dunlop valve adapter.

6. Operation

Power On/Off

  • To turn on: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds.
  • To turn off: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds, or the device will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

Mode Selection

The pump offers 5 preset modes and a custom mode. Press the 'M' button to cycle through the modes:

  • City Bike
  • Mountain Bike
  • Road Bike
  • Fat Bike
  • Custom Mode (for motorcycles, balls, etc.)

Setting Pressure and Inflation

  1. After selecting a mode, use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired pressure.
  2. Press the unit button to switch between PSI and BAR units.
  3. Connect the hose to the tire valve (with adapter if necessary).
  4. Press the Power Button to start inflation. The pump will display real-time pressure.
  5. The pump will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.

The memory function saves your last pressure setting for convenience.

7. LED Flashlight

The AstroAI L8 pump includes a built-in LED light with three modes for enhanced visibility and safety:

  • Steady Light: For general illumination.
  • Slow Flash: For signaling or increased visibility.
  • Fast Flash (SOS): For emergency situations.

To activate or change modes, press the flashlight button.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean the pump exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Store the pump in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Ensure the charging port is free of dust and debris.
  • Regularly check the hose and adapters for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
