5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Airthereal AEH300 for first use.
5.1 Filter Installation
- Unpack the unit and place it on a stable, level surface.
- Twist the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the sealed filter from its plastic packaging.
- Insert the filter into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Replace the bottom cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

5.2 Humidifier Module Setup (Optional)
The humidifier module can be used attached to the air purifier or detached for air purification only.
- Ensure the humidifier module is properly seated on top of the air purifier unit.
- To fill the water tank, simply pour clean tap water directly into the top opening of the humidifier module. The maximum capacity is 1.5 liters (3 pints). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- For air purification only, detach the humidifier module by lifting it off the main unit.

6. Operating Instructions
Plug the unit into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.
6.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power Button once to turn the unit on. It will start in Auto Mode by default.
- Press the Power Button again to turn the unit off.
6.2 Auto Mode and Air Quality Monitoring
When the unit is on, it automatically detects PM2.5 levels and adjusts the fan speed accordingly.
- The digital display shows the current PM2.5 concentration.
- The Air Quality Indicator light changes color: Green (Excellent, PM2.5 ≤ 12), Orange (Good, 12 < PM2.5 ≤ 35), Red (Poor, 35 < PM2.5 ≤ 200).
- In Auto Mode, the fan speed will automatically adjust between levels 1-4 based on air quality.

6.3 Fan Speed Adjustment
- Press the Fan Speed Button to manually cycle through speeds 1, 2, 3, and 4.
- Higher fan speeds provide faster air purification and humidification.
6.4 Sleep Mode
- Press the Sleep Mode Button to activate a whisper-quiet operation.
- In Sleep Mode, the display lights will dim, and the fan speed will operate at its lowest setting for minimal disturbance.
- Press the Sleep Mode Button again to exit sleep mode.

6.5 Timer Function
- Press the Timer Button to set the operating time. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour, from 1 to 24 hours.
- The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.
- To cancel the timer, cycle through the settings until '00' or 'OFF' is displayed, or turn the unit off.
6.6 Child Lock
- Press and hold the Child Lock Button for 3 seconds to activate the child lock. A lock icon will appear on the display.
- When activated, all other buttons on the control panel will be unresponsive.
- Press and hold the Child Lock Button again for 3 seconds to deactivate it.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Airthereal AEH300.
7.1 Filter Replacement
The filter should be replaced every 6-8 months, depending on usage and air quality. A filter replacement indicator light will illuminate when it's time to change the filter.
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Twist the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
- Insert a new Airthereal AEH300 replacement filter (ensure it's unwrapped).
- Replace the bottom cover and twist clockwise to lock it.
- Plug in the unit. Press and hold the Filter Reset Button (usually the Power button or a dedicated reset button, refer to control panel diagram) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
7.2 Cleaning the Unit
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Air Inlet/Outlet: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently clean dust from the air inlets and outlets.
- Water Tank: Clean the water tank and humidifier module regularly (e.g., weekly) to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
- PM2.5 Sensor: Gently wipe the PM2.5 sensor lens (located on the side or back of the unit) with a dry cotton swab to ensure accurate readings.
