2. Safety Information

WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box before installation or servicing. Consult a qualified electrician if you are not familiar with electrical wiring. All wiring connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Verify that all components are present and undamaged before beginning installation.

4. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. This fixture is designed for hardwired outdoor use.

  1. Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's power supply and turn it off. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Remove Old Fixture: Carefully detach and remove the existing light fixture from the wall. Disconnect any existing wiring.
  3. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the electrical junction box on the wall using the included screws. Ensure it is firmly attached and level.
  4. Wire Connections:
    • Connect the green ground wire from the fixture to the bare copper or green ground wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the white neutral wire from the fixture to the white neutral wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the black hot wire from the fixture to the black hot wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
    • Ensure all connections are secure and covered with wire nuts. Wrap electrical tape around wire nuts for added security.
  5. Mount New Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall.
  6. Install Bulb: Insert an E26 base bulb (max 25W LED, bulb not included) into the socket. The open bottom design allows for easy bulb replacement.
  7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Test the light fixture.
