2.3 Device Layout
Familiarize yourself with the device's buttons and ports:

- Type-C Connector: Used for charging the device and for reverse charging other devices.
- Indicator Lights: Display network status, Wi-Fi status, and battery level.
- On/Off Key: Powers the device on or off.
- Reset Key: Used to restore factory settings (requires a pin).
- SIM Card Insertion Port: Slot for inserting a Nano SIM card.
3. Setup
3.1 Installing the SIM Card
- Locate the SIM Card Insertion Port on the side of the device (refer to Figure 2).
- Gently open the protective cover of the SIM card slot.
- Insert a Nano SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly. Push until it clicks into place.
- Close the protective cover securely.

3.2 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge your mobile hotspot.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C data cable to the Type-C connector on the device.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The battery indicator lights will show charging progress. The device is fully charged when all battery indicator lights are solid.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the On/Off Key (refer to Figure 2) for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the On/Off Key for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn off.
4.2 Connecting Devices via Wi-Fi
- Ensure the mobile hotspot is powered on.
- On your Wi-Fi enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the network name (SSID) corresponding to your LICAEVEY 5G Mobile Hotspot. The SSID and default password are usually found on a sticker inside the SIM card compartment or on the device packaging.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
- Once connected, your device will have internet access through the hotspot.
4.3 Using as a Power Bank (Reverse Charging)
The 10000mAh battery allows the hotspot to charge other devices.
- Connect your external device (e.g., smartphone) to the Type-C connector of the mobile hotspot using a compatible charging cable.
- The hotspot will begin charging your external device.
5. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry and away from moisture.
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. This will void the warranty.
- For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 No Internet Connection
- Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated with a data plan.
- Check the network indicator lights on the hotspot. If no signal, try moving to an area with better network coverage.
- Restart the mobile hotspot and your connected device.
- Verify that your connected device is properly connected to the hotspot's Wi-Fi network.
6.2 Slow Connection Speed
- Check your signal strength. Weak signal can lead to slow speeds.
- Reduce the number of connected devices. The hotspot supports up to 16 users, but performance may vary with heavy usage.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the hotspot and your connected device.
- Check for any data caps or throttling from your SIM card provider.
6.3 Device Not Powering On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
- Try pressing and holding the On/Off key for a longer duration (e.g., 10-15 seconds).
6.4 Resetting the Device
If you encounter persistent issues, you may need to reset the device to factory settings. Note: This will erase all custom settings, including Wi-Fi name and password.
- With the device powered on, locate the Reset Key (refer to Figure 2).
- Use a small pin or paperclip to press and hold the Reset Key for approximately 5-10 seconds until the indicator lights flash.
- The device will restart with factory default settings.
