Setup

Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case.

• Wired Charging: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power source. The indicator light on the case will show charging status.
• Wireless Charging: Place the charging case on a compatible wireless charging pad. The indicator light will confirm charging.

A full charge provides up to 7.5 hours of listening time for the earbuds (ANC off), with the charging case extending this to a total of 30 hours. With ANC on, you get 5 hours from the earbuds and 15 hours total with the case.

The charging case supports convenient wireless charging.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for "Edifier NeoBuds Planar" in the list of available devices.
3. Select the earbuds to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing.
4. Multipoint Connection: The NeoBuds Planar supports connecting to two devices simultaneously. After pairing with the first device, disable Bluetooth on that device. Then, pair with the second device. Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device, and the earbuds should connect to both.

The earbuds can connect to multiple devices simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between calls and music.

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The NeoBuds Planar features intuitive touch controls on each earbud. You can customize these controls further using the EDIFIER ConneX app.

Automatic Wear Detection

The earbuds feature automatic wear detection. Music playback will pause when you remove an earbud and resume when you put it back in.

Low Latency Game Mode

Activate the 0.08s ultra-low latency game mode for a synchronized audio-visual experience during gaming. This mode can be toggled via touch controls or the EDIFIER ConneX app.

Maintenance

• Avoid Liquids: While IP54 rated, avoid prolonged exposure to water or submersion. Dry thoroughly if they get wet.
• Temperature: Do not expose the earbuds to extreme temperatures.
