Ionic Technology

This styler utilizes negative ion technology to neutralize static, reduce frizz, and leave hair shiny and smooth. This helps protect hair scales and strengthen the hair core, minimizing heat damage.

6. Operating Instructions

Temperature Settings

The styler offers three adjustable heat settings, suitable for various hair types:

  • Low Setting (50℃/122℉): Ideal for fine and damaged hair.
  • Mid Setting (80℃/176℉): Recommended for long-lasting styles.
  • High Setting (110℃/230℉): Best for coarse, pre-dried hair.

The device operates with 1 constant wind speed across all temperature settings.

Using the Hair Dryer Head

Attach the hair dryer head to pre-dry your hair before styling with other attachments. Select the appropriate temperature setting for your hair type.

Using the Auto-Wrap Air Curlers

The 30.5mm auto-wrap air curlers use high-speed airflow to automatically wrap hair around the barrel, creating curls. Use on semi-wet hair for best results.

  1. Take a small section of semi-wet hair.
  2. Hold a bunch of hair close to the curling iron and wait for the air to absorb them automatically.
  3. Hold in place for 10 seconds, then use cold air (1 Gear) for 3 seconds to set the style.
  4. Turn off the styler and gently release the curl by pulling down.
  5. Apply mousse or styling spray to prolong the hairstyle.

Using the Smoothing Hot Hair Brush

This brush is designed to create a smooth styling effect when your hair is wet. It helps reduce frizz and tangling, especially for naturally curly hair, but it does not achieve a pin-straight hair effect like a flat iron.

Using the Volumizing Blow Dryer Brush & Daily Hot Round Brush

These brushes are used to add volume, create natural waves, and style bangs. Use on damp hair for best results, lifting hair at the roots for maximum volume.

7. Maintenance

  • Always ensure the styler and attachments are unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the main unit and attachments with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse any part in water.
  • Regularly remove any hair or debris from the brushes and air inlet to maintain optimal performance.
  • Store the styler and its attachments in a dry, safe place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with curling, refer to the following guidelines:

Visual comparison of incorrect and correct curling techniques, showing common mistakes like holding too much hair or curling from the middle, versus correct methods like starting from tips and slow release.

Figure 8.1: Correct vs. Incorrect Curling Techniques.

Common Curling Issues and Solutions:

  • Hair not wrapping: Ensure you are holding a small section of hair (approx. 10cm/3.93 inches from the tips) and bringing it towards the styler.
  • Curls not holding: Ensure you hold the hair in place for 15 seconds or until dry, then use the cold air setting to set the curl before releasing.
  • Hair tangling: Avoid holding too much hair at once. Do not rotate the handle directly; allow the air to wrap the hair automatically.
  • No power: Check if the ALCI plug has tripped. Reset if necessary. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into an outlet.
