Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Controller
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your controller.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the controller's surface.
- For stubborn grime, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish and internal components.
- Ensure no liquid enters openings such as button gaps or ports.
2. Cable Care
The braided USB-C cable is designed for durability, but proper care will extend its lifespan.
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable.
- Do not pull on the cable to disconnect it; always grasp the connector.
- Store the cable neatly when not in use to prevent tangling.
Troubleshooting
1. Controller Not Connecting/Responding
- Check Cable Connection: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely plugged into both the controller and your Xbox/PC.
- Try Different USB Port: Connect the controller to a different USB port on your console or PC.
- Restart Device: Restart your Xbox console or PC.
- Update Drivers (PC): On PC, ensure your Xbox controller drivers are up to date. This can usually be done through Windows Update or the Xbox Accessories app.
2. Audio Issues (Headset)
- Check Headset Connection: Ensure your headset is fully plugged into the controller's 3.5mm jack.
- Adjust Volume Controls: Use the controller's audio scroll wheels to adjust headset volume and game/chat mix. Also, check your console/PC audio settings.
- Mic Mute: Ensure the microphone is not muted via the controller's mic mute button.
- Unplug and Replug Headset: If audio crackles or is absent, try unplugging and re-plugging your headset.
3. Paddle/Button Remapping Issues
