Measuring for Installation (Inside Mount Only)

Accurate measurements are crucial for proper fit and function. These blinds are designed for inside mount installations.

1. Window Width: Measure the inside width of your window frame at three points (top, middle, bottom). Use the smallest measurement.
2. Choose Blind Width: The chosen cellular shade width should be less than or equal to your window's inside frame measurement, with a maximum reduction of 1/2 inch from the window size.
3. Window Height: Measure the inside height of your window frame.
4. Choose Blind Height: The chosen blind height should be greater than or equal to your window's inside height.
5. Window Depth: Ensure your window depth is at least 2.75 inches for proper installation.

Installation (No Tools, No Drill)

Your Joydeco cellular shades are designed for easy, drill-free installation using a tension-mounted system.

1. Attach Rubber Pads: Attach the provided rubber pads to both ends of the blind's headrail. These pads help secure the blind within the window frame.
2. Position and Engage Tension: Press the tension mechanism on the headrail and carefully position the blinds inside your window frame. Ensure the blinds are level and centered.
3. Tighten and Secure: Using the hex screwdriver, tighten the tension mechanism by turning it clockwise until the blinds are firmly secured in place. Once tightened, cover the mechanism with the provided caps for a finished look.

Operation

Your Joydeco cellular shades feature a cordless, top-down/bottom-up design for versatile light control and privacy.

1. Raising the Blinds (Bottom-Up): Gently push the bottom rail upwards to raise the blinds. The cordless mechanism will hold the blinds at your desired height.
2. Lowering the Blinds (Top-Down): Gently pull the top rail downwards to lower the blinds from the top. This allows natural light to enter while maintaining privacy in the lower portion of the window.
3. Adjusting Both Panels: You can adjust both the top and bottom rails independently to achieve various light and privacy configurations, such as having the middle section of the window covered while the top and bottom are open.
4. Using the Handle: Attach the provided handle to the bottom rail for easier grip and adjustment, especially for taller windows.
