3. Installation

3.1 Car Seat Base Installation (Rear-Facing Only)

The Infanti Nest LX car seat base is designed for secure installation using your vehicle's 3-point seat belt system. Always install the base in a rear-facing position.

1. Place the car seat base on the vehicle seat in a rear-facing orientation. Ensure it is positioned firmly against the vehicle's seat back.
2. Thread the vehicle's lap belt through the blue belt guides on the car seat base.
3. Buckle the vehicle's seat belt.
4. Press down firmly on the car seat base while pulling the shoulder belt to remove any slack. Ensure the base is tightly secured and does not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

3.2 Attaching the Infant Carrier to the Base

1. Align the infant carrier with the base.

4. Operation

4.1 Securing Your Child

1. Place your child in the car seat.
2. Bring the 3-point harness straps over your child's shoulders and between their legs.
3. Insert both buckle tongues into the buckle until they click.
4. Pull the harness adjustment strap to tighten the harness until it is snug against your child's body. You should not be able to pinch any excess webbing at the child's shoulder.
5. Ensure the chest clip is positioned at armpit level.
