Introduction

The Trust Vaiya Wireless Keyboard is a full-size QWERTZ layout keyboard designed for seamless connectivity across multiple devices. It offers versatile connection options including 2.4 GHz wireless and three independent Bluetooth channels, allowing users to switch between up to four devices effortlessly. Constructed with 55% recycled plastics, this keyboard combines functionality with environmental consciousness. It features flat scissor keys for comfortable typing and an integrated rechargeable battery providing extended usage.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard's integrated battery. Connect the keyboard to a USB power source using the provided charging cable. The charging indicator light will provide status feedback.

2. Connecting to Devices

The Vaiya keyboard supports connection via 2.4 GHz wireless (USB receiver) and up to three Bluetooth channels.

2.1. 2.4 GHz Wireless Connection

1. Locate the USB receiver, typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard.
2. Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
3. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch. The keyboard should automatically connect to the receiver.
4. Press the 2.4G key (often combined with F1) to select the 2.4 GHz channel. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

2.2. Bluetooth Connection (BT1, BT2, BT3)

1. Turn on the keyboard.
2. Press and hold one of the Bluetooth keys (BT1, BT2, or BT3) for 3-5 seconds until its indicator light begins to flash rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
3. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for new devices. The keyboard should appear as "Trust Vaiya Keyboard" or similar.
5. Select the keyboard from the list to pair. Follow any on-screen prompts, such as entering a pairing code.
6. Once paired, the indicator light for the selected Bluetooth channel will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds before turning off, indicating a successful connection.
7. Repeat these steps for additional devices using the other Bluetooth channels (BT2, BT3).

Operating Instructions

1. Switching Between Devices

To switch between connected devices, simply press the corresponding connection key:

• 2.4G: Switches to the device connected via the USB receiver.
• BT1: Switches to the device paired with Bluetooth channel 1.
• BT2: Switches to the device paired with Bluetooth channel 2.
• BT3: Switches to the device paired with Bluetooth channel 3.

2. Multimedia Keys

The keyboard features 12 multimedia keys (F1-F12) that provide quick access to various functions. These functions are typically accessed by pressing the Fn key simultaneously with the desired F-key.

3. Operating System Compatibility

The Trust Vaiya keyboard is designed to be compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including:

Maintenance

1. Battery Management

• Charging: Connect the keyboard to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter) using the provided cable.
• Low Battery Indicator: A dedicated indicator light on the keyboard will signal when the battery level is low, prompting you to recharge.
• Battery Life Extension: To maximize battery life, turn off the keyboard using the power switch when not in use for extended periods.

2. Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard or using harsh chemicals.
