1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Silonn 50-inch Smart Electric Fireplace Heater. This appliance is designed to provide supplemental heat and aesthetic flame effects for your living space. It features smart app control, a remote control, and can be installed as a wall-mounted or recessed unit. 2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug the heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• All electrical heaters have hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater includes an overheat protection system. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. If this occurs, unplug the heater from the electrical outlet for 5-10 minutes. Plug it back in and resume normal operation.
• Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating label on the appliance.

4. Setup and Installation

The Silonn 50-inch Electric Fireplace Heater offers two installation methods: wall-mounted or recessed. Choose the method that best suits your space and ensure proper preparation before installation.

4.1 Wall-Mounted Installation

For wall-mounted installation, the unit features a slim 3.9-inch profile to save space. Ensure the wall is structurally sound to support the weight of the fireplace.

1. Select a suitable location on a wall, away from curtains, furniture, and high-traffic areas.
2. Mark the desired height and width for mounting the bracket.
3. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided hardware, ensuring it is level.
4. Carefully lift the fireplace unit and hook it onto the wall mounting bracket.
5. Secure the unit to the bracket using the designated screws.

4.2 Recessed Installation

Recessed installation requires proper framing within a compatible wall cavity. It is recommended to consult a professional for this type of installation.

1. Prepare a wall cavity with the following approximate dimensions: Width 47.1" (1198mm), Height 16.5" (420mm), Depth 4.7" (120mm). Refer to the product specifications for exact required framing size.
2. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the cavity for ventilation and access.
3. Insert the fireplace unit into the prepared cavity.
4. Secure the unit to the wall framing using the provided screws.

4.3 Power Connection

The fireplace comes with a 5.91 ft power cord. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible and meets the electrical requirements of the unit (120V AC, 60Hz, 1400W).

• Plug the power cord directly into a grounded 3-prong 120V outlet.
• Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions

The Silonn electric fireplace can be operated using the control panel on the unit, the included remote control, or via a smart app on your mobile device.

5.1 Control Panel

The control panel is located on the front of the fireplace unit. It provides direct access to basic functions.

• Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
• Heater Button: Activates/deactivates the heating function.
• Temperature Control: Adjusts the heat output (62°F to 86°F).
• Flame Color Button: Cycles through 20 flame color modes and an automatic color-changing mode.
