Ventilation Requirements:

As a vented tumble dryer, it requires proper ventilation to expel moist air. Ensure the exhaust hose is securely connected and directed to an outdoor vent. Adequate airflow around the appliance is crucial for efficient operation and safety.

Electrical Connection:

Connect the dryer to a grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage as specified on the product label. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

5. Operating Instructions

Loading the Dryer:

  • Ensure clothes are adequately spun in a washing machine to remove excess water before placing them in the dryer. This improves drying efficiency.
  • Do not overload the dryer. The maximum capacity is 4KG of wet clothes. For quicker drying, limit the load to 3KG.
  • Distribute clothes evenly in the drum to allow for proper tumbling and airflow.

This image illustrates the 4KG drying capacity with examples of typical loads: 24 T-shirts, 7 pairs of pants, 25 towels, 4 down jackets, or 1 sheet. Note that capacity testing comes from internal laboratory data, and actual results may vary.

Selecting a Drying Mode:

Turn the control knob to select the desired drying mode:

  • Timer: Allows users to select a specific drying time from 15 to 120 minutes, typically in 15-minute intervals.
  • Auto: The intelligent judgment mode. The dryer automatically senses the moisture level and stops when clothes are dry, preventing over-drying.
  • Fresh: Uses cold air primarily to remove odors from clothes, ideal for refreshing items that don't require full drying.
  • Iron Dry: Designed for clothes that are difficult to iron. The dryer stops while clothes still contain some moisture, making them easier to iron.
  • Regular: A standard drying cycle, mostly for clothing that does not wrinkle easily. The drying time is fixed at 110 minutes.
  • Heavy: Used for drying larger sizes or multiple loads of clothes. The drying time is fixed at 170 minutes.

Starting and Stopping:

  • After loading clothes and selecting a mode, press the Start button (if applicable, or turn the knob to start).
  • To pause or stop the cycle, open the door. The dryer will automatically stop. Close the door to resume.
  • The power-off protection feature ensures safety when the door is opened, making it convenient to add or remove clothes mid-cycle.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Lint Filter Cleaning:

Regular cleaning of the lint filter is crucial for the dryer's performance and safety.

  • After Each Use: Be sure to empty both the inlet and outlet filters after every drying cycle. This prevents lint buildup, which can reduce drying efficiency and pose a fire hazard.
  • Cleaning Method: The removable filter is easy to clean. Simply remove it and rinse off the collected lint and fluff with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.

General Cleaning:

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Drum: Periodically wipe the inside of the drum with a damp cloth to remove any residue.

Operational Longevity:

To prolong the life of your dryer, allow it to rest for approximately one hour after extended periods of continuous operation.
