5. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your F1000 Pro Smart Charger. Ensure your vehicle's electrical system can support the charger's power requirements.

5.1 Mounting the Charger

Choose a dry, well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials.

5.2 Wiring Connections

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Initial Power-Up

Once all connections are secure, power on the F1000 Pro. The unit will perform a self-check. Refer to the Quick Guide for indicator light meanings.

6.2 Charging Modes

Alternator Charging: When connected to the vehicle's alternator, the charger will automatically begin charging connected batteries or power stations once the alternator voltage is detected.
Solar Charging: When solar panels are connected and sufficient sunlight is available, the charger will utilize solar energy. The F1000 Pro features MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) for efficient solar conversion.
