5. Operating Instructions
The Kuvings EVO820GMS is designed for efficient and quiet operation, preserving nutrients through its slow-press technology.
5.1 Preparing Ingredients
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- Remove hard seeds (e.g., from mangoes, peaches) and thick peels (e.g., citrus fruits) before juicing.
- For apples, remove the stem to ensure greater durability of the auger.
- The wide 3.2-inch (82mm) O-shaped flip gate allows you to insert whole fruits and vegetables, minimizing prep time. The auto-cutting auger will slice and prep ingredients before pressing.
5.2 Juicing Process
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and plugged in.
- Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position.
- Slowly feed prepared fruits and vegetables into the mega hopper. The auto-cutting auger will process them.
- The slow juicing speed (50 RPM for the auger, 17 RPM for the rotating brush) reduces heat buildup and oxidation, resulting in a fresher, nutrient-rich juice.
- If ingredients get stuck, press and hold the 'REV' (Reverse) button to dislodge them. Release the button and resume normal operation.
- Once juicing is complete, turn the power switch to 'OFF'.

The Kuvings EVO820GMS comes with various strainers to expand its functionality:
- Fine Sieve: For clear, pulp-free juices.
- Coarse Sieve: For juices with more pulp.
- Smoothie Strainer: For thicker, creamier smoothies.
- Sorbet Strainer: For delicious frozen desserts from frozen fruits.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your juicer. Cleaning should be done immediately after each use.
- Disassemble: Turn off and unplug the juicer. Disassemble all removable parts in reverse order of assembly.
- Rinse: Rinse all disassembled parts under lukewarm running water.
- Brush Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any pulp residue from the sieves and other components. The brush has a foldable end with both hard bristles and a softer brush for thorough cleaning.
- Pulp Outlet: The pulp outlet has a cap that can be opened to easily remove any remaining pulp.
- Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Important: Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher. Hand washing is recommended to maintain the integrity and longevity of the materials.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Kuvings EVO820GMS, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Juicer does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check that all parts are correctly assembled and locked into place. The juicer has safety features that prevent operation if not properly assembled.
- Ingredients are stuck/Juicer stops during operation: Press and hold the 'REV' (Reverse) button for a few seconds to dislodge any stuck ingredients. Release the button and resume normal operation. If the issue persists, disassemble and clean the juicer, ensuring no large, hard pieces are blocking the auger.
- Excessive pulp in juice: Ensure the fine sieve is correctly installed for clearer juice. If using the coarse sieve, some pulp is normal.
- Low juice yield: Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly prepared (e.g., remove hard seeds). The slow-press technology is designed for high yield, but very dry or fibrous ingredients may yield less juice.
- Leakage: Check that all parts are correctly assembled and securely locked. Ensure the smart cap on the juice outlet is properly closed when not dispensing.
If problems persist after following these steps, please contact Kuvings customer service.
