1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Fafeicy P30 Industrial Endoscope. This device is designed for detailed visual inspection in hard-to-reach areas, such as pipes, automotive engines, and industrial machinery. It features a 4.3-inch 1080P LCD display, an 8mm diameter probe with both front and side cameras, and adjustable LED illumination for clear imaging in various environments. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use and maintenance.

2. Safety Information

• Do not use the endoscope in environments with flammable or explosive gases.
• The probe is waterproof (IP68 rated) but the main display unit is not. Avoid exposing the display unit to liquids.
• Keep the device out of reach of children.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device. This will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
• Use only the provided USB cable for charging.
• Ensure the device is fully charged before extended use to avoid interruptions.
• Avoid bending the probe cable sharply or applying excessive force, which can damage internal wiring.

4. Product Features

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the endoscope's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
3. The charging indicator light on the device will illuminate. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the USB cable.

5.2 Attaching the Probe

1. Align the connector of the hard cable probe with the port on the top of the main display unit.
2. Gently push the connector in and twist the locking ring clockwise until it is securely fastened.
3. Ensure the connection is firm to prevent accidental disconnection during use.

5.3 Inserting a Micro SD Card (Optional)

To save photos and videos, a Micro SD card (not included) is required.

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the main display unit.
2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power Button (often indicated by a power icon) for 3 seconds until the screen illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds until the screen turns off.

6.2 Adjusting LED Lights

• While the device is on, press the Light Adjustment Button (often indicated by a light bulb icon) to cycle through the 9 LED brightness levels. There are multiple levels of brightness, including off.

6.3 Switching Cameras (Front/Side)

• Press the Camera Switch Button (often labeled with a camera icon or 'M/OK' button in some modes) to toggle between the front-view camera and the side-view camera. The display will show the active camera feed.

6.4 Capturing Photos and Videos

• Take Photo: In live view mode, press the Photo Button (often indicated by a camera icon) to capture a still image. The image will be saved to the inserted Micro SD card.
• Record Video: Press the Video Record Button (often indicated by a video camera icon) once to start recording. Press it again to stop recording. Videos will be saved to the Micro SD card.

6.5 Menu Navigation and Settings

• Use the Up/Down/Left/Right Arrow Buttons to navigate through menu options.
• Press the M/OK Button to confirm a selection or enter a submenu.
• Common settings include:
  • Language: Select from English, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Russian.
  • Date/Time: Set the current date and time for timestamping recordings.
  • Resolution: Adjust photo/video resolution (default is 1960x1080).
  • Format SD Card: Erase all data on the Micro SD card.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

• Probe: After use, especially in dirty or wet environments, wipe the probe and camera lens with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild detergent can be used, followed by a rinse with clean water. Ensure the lens is dry before storage.
• Main Unit: Wipe the display unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the screen or unit.

7.2 Storage

• Store the endoscope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan. Recharge every 3-6 months.
• Keep the probe cable coiled loosely to prevent damage.
