Setup Guide
1. Charging Your Powerbeats Pro 2
Before first use, ensure your Powerbeats Pro 2 and their charging case are fully charged. Place the earbuds into the charging case. The case can be charged wirelessly using a Qi-certified charging mat or via a USB-C cable (not included) connected to a power adapter.

2. Pairing with Your Device
For Apple Devices:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
- Open the Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case and hold it near your unlocked iPhone or iPad.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect.
For Android Devices:
- Download the Beats app from the Google Play Store.
- Enable Bluetooth on your Android device.
- Open the Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case.
- Open the Beats app and follow the instructions to pair your earbuds.
3. Achieving the Best Fit
Proper fit is crucial for optimal sound quality and noise cancellation. The Powerbeats Pro 2 come with five ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) to ensure a personalized and secure fit. Experiment with different sizes to find the one that creates a good seal in your ear canal.

To ensure a secure fit, gently insert the earbud into your ear and rotate the earhook towards the back of your ear until it rests comfortably and securely over your ear.

Operating Instructions
Controls
Each earbud features on-ear buttons and tactile volume rockers for easy control without disrupting your activity.
- Play/Pause/Answer Call: Press the 'b' button once.
- Skip Forward: Press the 'b' button twice.
- Skip Backward: Press the 'b' button three times.
- Volume Up/Down: Use the tactile volume rockers on the top edge of the earbud.
- Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Press and hold the 'b' button.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency Mode
The Powerbeats Pro 2 offer both Active Noise Cancelling and Transparency modes. You can switch between these modes using the controls on the earbuds or through the Beats app.
- ANC: Reduces ambient noise for immersive listening.

Troubleshooting
No Sound or Intermittent Audio
- Ensure earbuds are charged.
- Check Bluetooth connection on your device. Try turning Bluetooth off and on again.
- Move closer to your device to avoid interference.
- Reset the earbuds: Place them in the charging case, open the lid, and press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds until the LED indicator light flashes red and white. Then re-pair.
Earbuds Not Charging
- Ensure the charging case is charged.
- Check that the earbuds are properly seated in the charging case.
- Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case with a dry cotton swab.
- If using wireless charging, ensure the case is correctly positioned on a Qi-certified charger.
Poor Noise Cancellation or Sound Quality
- Ensure you have the correct ear tip size for a proper seal. Use the Ear Tip Fit Test available on iOS devices or the Beats app for Android.
- Clean ear tips and earbud nozzles to remove any debris.
- Ensure ANC is enabled and Transparency Mode is off if you desire maximum noise cancellation.
