6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Probe and Lens: After each use, especially in dirty or oily environments, gently wipe the probe and camera lenses with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the main unit. The probe is IP67 waterproof, but the main unit is not.
  • Cleaning the Display: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to clean the 4.5-inch IPS display. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the screen.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the battery indicator is low. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% and store in a cool, dry place.
  • Storage: Always store the endoscope camera and its accessories in the provided EVA carrying case. This protects the device from dust, impacts, and environmental damage. Ensure the probe is coiled loosely and not sharply bent.
  • Temperature Monitoring: Pay attention to the integrated high-temperature warning. If the device indicates overheating, cease operation immediately and allow it to cool down before resuming use.
