Setup and Installation
1. Camera Features Overview
The Volteck bullet cameras are equipped with advanced features for comprehensive surveillance.

2. DVR Connections
Identify the various ports on the rear of the DVR for proper connection of cameras, display, and network.

- Connect Cameras: Use the provided Siamese coaxial cables to connect each camera to the BNC video input ports (V1-V8) on the DVR. Ensure the power connector from the cable is connected to the camera and the power splitter.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapters to the DVR and the camera power splitter. Plug the adapters into a power outlet.
- Connect Display: Connect a monitor or TV to the DVR using either the HDMI or VGA port.
- Connect Mouse: Plug the included mouse into one of the USB ports on the DVR.
- Network Connection: For remote viewing and network features, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the RJ45 Ethernet port on the DVR.
3. Initial Power-Up and Configuration
Once all connections are secure, power on the DVR. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, which may include setting the date, time, and administrator password.
4. Mobile Application Setup
For remote viewing on your smartphone or tablet, download the TSEye app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android). Follow the in-app instructions to add your DVR device using its unique ID or QR code.

5. Camera Placement
The cameras are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Ensure they are mounted securely and positioned to cover desired areas. The IP66 rating ensures protection against dust and powerful water jets.

Operating Instructions
1. Live View
After setup, the DVR will display live video feeds from all connected cameras on the connected monitor. You can switch between single-camera view and multi-camera grid view using the DVR's interface or the mobile app.
2. Recording Modes
- Continuous Recording: The system records 24/7, overwriting the oldest footage when the hard drive is full.
- Motion Detection Recording: The system records only when motion is detected by the cameras. This feature helps conserve storage space. Configure motion detection zones and sensitivity through the DVR settings.
- Scheduled Recording: Set specific times for the system to record.
3. Playback
Access recorded footage through the DVR's playback menu or the mobile application. You can search for recordings by date, time, or event (e.g., motion detection). The 1TB hard drive provides ample storage for extended recording periods.
4. Night Vision
The cameras feature full-color night vision, providing clear and detailed images even in low-light conditions. This is automatically activated when ambient light levels drop.
5. Remote Access
Using the TSEye mobile app, you can view live feeds, play back recordings, and receive alerts from your surveillance system from anywhere with an internet connection.
Maintenance
- Cleaning Cameras: Periodically clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Checking Connections: Regularly inspect all cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
- Hard Drive Management: While the 1TB hard drive is designed for continuous recording, it is good practice to periodically review and back up important footage. The system will automatically overwrite older data when the drive is full.
- Software Updates: Check the Volteck website or your DVR's settings for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
