5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and clarity of your IPG ProActive screen protector, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use the provided microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface of the screen protector. This will effectively remove dust, fingerprints, and smudges due to its anti-smudge properties.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals on the screen protector, as these can damage the film and affect its clarity.
  • Gentle Handling: While the film is durable, avoid sharp objects or excessive force that could potentially scratch or puncture the surface.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during or after installation, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Bubbles After Installation: If small bubbles remain after initial application, use the IPG installation card to gently push them towards the nearest edge. For persistent bubbles, carefully lift the edge of the film closest to the bubble and reapply, ensuring no dust particles are trapped underneath.
  • Dust Under Film: If dust particles are trapped, carefully lift the film and use the dust-remover sticker to pick up the particles from both the screen and the adhesive side of the film before reapplying.
  • Residue Upon Removal: The IPG ProActive film is designed to leave no adhesive residue when removed during replacement, ensuring your device's screen remains clean.
