4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
Main Unit:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
- Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Remote Sensors:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each remote sensor.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
- Before closing, select a channel (1, 2, or 3) for each sensor using the small switch inside the compartment. Ensure each sensor uses a unique channel.
- Close the battery compartment cover.

Ensure correct battery polarity during installation. Each remote sensor must be assigned a distinct channel (1, 2, or 3) for proper communication with the main unit.
4.2 Initial Synchronization
After installing batteries in both the main unit and sensors, the main unit will automatically search for and connect to the remote sensors. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure sensors are within range during initial setup.
4.3 Placement Recommendations
Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect its readings. It can be placed on a tabletop using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.
Remote Sensors:
- Place sensors in desired monitoring locations (e.g., bedroom, kitchen, greenhouse, garage, nursery, patio, attic).
- For outdoor sensors, install them in a well-protected area to prevent prolonged exposure to direct rain and sunlight. While the sensors are designed to be weather-resistant, extreme conditions can impact accuracy and lifespan.
- Ensure sensors are within the 328 feet (100 meters) transmission range of the main unit, minimizing obstructions like thick walls or large metal objects.

The three remote sensors allow for monitoring of temperature and humidity in various indoor and outdoor environments, such as a nursery, bedroom, or patio.

The wireless sensors offer a substantial transmission range, enabling flexible placement throughout your home or garden.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Overview
The main unit's LCD displays indoor temperature and humidity at the top, and readings from the three remote sensors (CH1, CH2, CH3) below. Each channel shows temperature, humidity, and a comfort indicator.
5.2 °C/°F Temperature Unit Switch
On the back of the main unit, locate the °C/°F button. Press this button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays.

The back of the main unit provides access to control buttons for unit conversion, channel selection, and viewing historical data.
5.3 Channel Switching
On the back of the main unit, locate the CHANNEL button. Press this button to cycle through the display of remote sensor channels (CH1, CH2, CH3). The display can show one channel at a time or cycle through all three automatically.
5.4 Air Comfort Indicator
The main unit displays comfort icons to indicate the current humidity level:
- DRY (smiley face with frown): Humidity < 45%
- COM (neutral smiley face): 45% ≤ Humidity ≤ 65%
- WET (smiley face with sweat drop): Humidity > 65%
These indicators help you assess the indoor environment and make adjustments for optimal comfort and health.

The comfort indicators provide a quick visual reference for the current humidity conditions, aiding in maintaining a healthy living environment.
5.5 Max/Min Record Function
The main unit records the daily maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values for both indoor and each remote sensor. To view these records, press the MIN/MAX button on the back of the main unit.
- Press once to display maximum values.
- Press again to display minimum values.
- Press a third time to return to current readings.
The maximum and minimum values are automatically reset 12 hours after the first battery installation and then every 24 hours thereafter.

The device tracks and displays the highest and lowest temperature and humidity readings over a 24-hour period, providing valuable trend data.
5.6 Backlight Function
The main unit features a backlight for improved visibility in low light conditions.
- Touch the light icon (bulb symbol) on the top of the main unit once to activate the backlight for 5 seconds.
- Touch and hold the light icon for 5 seconds to keep the backlight on continuously for 30 minutes.

The backlight ensures that the display is easily readable at any time of day or night.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed. | Replace with new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Remote sensor reading not displayed or inaccurate. |
|
|
| Inconsistent readings between sensors. | Sensors are exposed to different environmental conditions (direct sunlight, drafts, heat sources). | Ensure sensors are placed in similar, protected environments for comparative readings. Avoid direct exposure to extreme elements. |
| Backlight not working. | Low batteries or incorrect operation. | Replace main unit batteries. Ensure you are touching the light icon correctly. |
