4. Setup and Installation

The dé Mobile Wallbox is designed for straightforward plug-and-play operation. No complex installation is required.

4.1 Connecting to Power

  1. Locate a suitable CEE 16A three-phase power socket. Ensure the socket is properly installed and grounded by a qualified electrician.
  2. Insert the CEE 16A plug of the charging station firmly into the power socket.
  3. The charging station's LCD display will illuminate, indicating it is powered on and ready for use.

4.2 Wall Mounting (Optional)

For fixed use, the included carrying strap can be utilized for wall mounting. Secure the strap to a sturdy wall using appropriate fasteners (not included) and hang the control unit. Ensure the mounting location allows for proper cable management and access.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Connecting to Your EV

  1. Ensure the charging station is powered on.
  2. Open the charging port cover on your electric vehicle.
  3. Insert the Type 2 connector firmly into your vehicle's charging port. A click sound usually indicates a secure connection.
  4. The charging process will typically begin automatically, or you may need to confirm it on your vehicle's dashboard.

5.2 LCD Display Overview

The LCD display provides real-time charging information and allows for settings adjustments.

Press the (A) button on the control unit to cycle through available charging current settings: 6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A. Select the desired current based on your vehicle's requirements and power source capacity.

5.4 Setting a Delay Timer

Press the (L) button to set a delay for the charging start time. You can adjust the delay from 0.5 hours to 8 hours in increments (e.g., 0.5h, 1h, 1.5h, ..., 7.5h, 8h). This feature allows for charging during off-peak electricity hours.

5.5 Ending the Charging Session

  1. Stop the charging process via your vehicle's interface or by pressing the stop button on the charging station (if available).
  2. Disconnect the Type 2 connector from your vehicle's charging port.
  3. Disconnect the CEE 16A plug from the power socket.
  4. Store the charging station and cable in the waterproof bag.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
