2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your BLUETTI AC500 and B300K system, carefully unpack all components. Verify that all included items are present: the AC500 unit, B300K battery, 15A AC charging cable, DC input cable, car charging cable, P090A battery expansion cable, P090D to P150D cable, and the user manual. Inspect all units and cables for any visible damage before proceeding.
2.2 Connecting the AC500 with B300K
The AC500 unit requires connection to at least one B300K expansion battery to function. Use the provided P090D to P150D cable to establish this connection. This cable is essential for power transfer between the inverter and the battery. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent power interruptions.

Figure 2.1: Rear view of the AC500 and B300K units showing the connection ports for the P090D to P150D cable and P090A battery expansion cable.
For expanding capacity with additional B300K batteries, use the P090A battery expansion cable to link multiple B300K units together. The AC500 can support up to six B300K batteries.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On and Off
Once the AC500 is securely connected to the B300K battery, press the main power button on the AC500 unit to turn it on. The integrated touchscreen display will activate, providing real-time information on power input, output, and battery status. To power off, press and hold the main power button until the unit shuts down.
3.2 Charging Methods
The BLUETTI AC500 system supports multiple charging methods:

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Unit Not Powering On: Ensure the AC500 is correctly connected to the B300K battery using the P090D to P150D cable. Check that the battery is sufficiently charged.
- No Output from AC Ports: Verify that the AC output is enabled on the touchscreen display. Check the load connected to the ports; ensure it does not exceed the maximum wattage (5000W continuous, 10KW peak).
- Slow Charging: Confirm that the charging cable is fully inserted and undamaged. For solar charging, ensure panels are clean and optimally positioned for maximum sunlight. Check the input wattage displayed on the screen.
- Battery Not Charging: If using multiple B300K batteries, confirm that all P150D input ports on the AC500 are connected to a B300K unit via the P090D to P150D cable for optimal performance, especially when drawing high power.
- Display Issues: If the touchscreen is unresponsive or difficult to read, try restarting the unit. Ensure the screen is clean.
For persistent issues, refer to the detailed troubleshooting section in the included user manual or contact BLUETTI customer support.
