3. Setup
3.1 Power Source Installation
The scale offers two power options: USB charging or AAA batteries.
- USB Charging: Connect the provided USB cable to the scale's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The scale has a built-in rechargeable battery. A full charge can provide approximately 4 months of use.
- AAA Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

3.2 Initial Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the ON/OFF button.
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve power.
4.2 Unit Conversion
The scale supports 5 units of measurement: kilograms (kg), grams (g), pounds:ounces (lb:oz), fluid ounces (fl'oz), and milliliters (ml).
- Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units. The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.

4.3 Tare Function (Zeroing)
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or previous ingredients, so you can measure subsequent items accurately.
- Place an empty container on the scale platform.
- Wait for the display to stabilize, then press the ZERO button. The display will reset to zero.
- Add your ingredients to the container. The display will show only the net weight of the ingredients.
4.4 Measurement
- Ensure the scale is on a flat surface and powered on.
- Select your desired unit using the UNIT button.
- Place the item(s) to be weighed directly onto the scale platform or into a tared container.
- Read the stable measurement displayed on the LCD screen.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
The scale's tempered glass and stainless steel surface are designed for easy cleaning.
- Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth.
- For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent on the cloth, then wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Do not immerse the scale in water. While it has a water-resistant design, submerging it can damage internal components. Ensure the charging port cover is securely in place before cleaning near water.

5.2 Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Its slim design allows for convenient storage, such as hanging it using its attached hook.

- "Lo" displayed: Indicates low battery. Recharge the scale via USB or replace the AAA batteries.
- "O-Ld" displayed: Indicates overload. The weight on the scale exceeds its maximum capacity (15kg / 33 lbs). Remove items immediately to prevent damage.
- "UnSt" displayed: Indicates an unstable reading. Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, stable surface and that there are no vibrations or air currents affecting the measurement.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the scale is on a level surface. Try recalibrating by turning it off and on, or by removing and reinserting batteries.
- Scale does not turn on: Check battery installation or ensure the USB cable is properly connected and charging.
