5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

The scale's tempered glass and stainless steel surface are designed for easy cleaning.

  • Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent on the cloth, then wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • Do not immerse the scale in water. While it has a water-resistant design, submerging it can damage internal components. Ensure the charging port cover is securely in place before cleaning near water.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your scale, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • "Lo" displayed: Indicates low battery. Recharge the scale via USB or replace the AAA batteries.
  • "O-Ld" displayed: Indicates overload. The weight on the scale exceeds its maximum capacity (15kg / 33 lbs). Remove items immediately to prevent damage.
  • "UnSt" displayed: Indicates an unstable reading. Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, stable surface and that there are no vibrations or air currents affecting the measurement.
  • Inaccurate readings: Ensure the scale is on a level surface. Try recalibrating by turning it off and on, or by removing and reinserting batteries.
  • Scale does not turn on: Check battery installation or ensure the USB cable is properly connected and charging.
