3. Setup Guide

3.2 Charging the Camera

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.

1. Download the HoMeYe Pro app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).

3.4 Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
2. In the HoMeYe Pro app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Select your camera model or scan the QR code on the camera/packaging.
4. Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves resetting the camera and scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.

3.5 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel

1. Choose a suitable outdoor location for the camera, ensuring it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

3. Install the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight for several hours each day to ensure optimal charging. The solar panel is adjustable for best sun exposure.

4.1 Live View and Playback

• Open the HoMeYe Pro app and select your camera to access the live view feed.
