3. Setup Guide

3.1 Package Contents

3.2 Charging the Camera

  1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  2. In the HoMeYe Pro app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Select your camera model or scan the QR code on the camera/packaging.
  4. Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves resetting the camera and scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.

3.5 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel

  1. Choose a suitable outdoor location for the camera, ensuring it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
