Introduction

The Dlyfull DB1 Universal Battery Tester is designed to help you quickly and accurately assess the remaining capacity of various battery types. Featuring a magnetic battery slot for easy, one-handed operation, an intuitive LCD display, and a convenient USB-C rechargeable internal battery, this tester simplifies battery management in your home or workshop. It provides clear indications of battery status (Good, Weak, Poor) and supports a wide range of battery chemistries and voltages.

Setup

1. Unboxing

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The package should contain:

  • 1 x Dlyfull Universal Battery Tester (DB1)
  • 1 x USB-C Charging Cable
  • 1 x Instruction Manual

2. Initial Charging

The DB1 Battery Tester is powered by an integrated rechargeable battery. Before first use, or if the battery indicator on the LCD shows low power, connect the device to a USB power source using the provided USB-C cable. The device will charge automatically. A full charge provides approximately 15 hours of continuous operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Inserting a Battery

The DB1 features a magnetic slot for secure battery placement. Simply place the battery into the designated slot. The magnetic ends will hold it firmly in place, allowing for easy, one-handed testing.

2. Selecting Battery Type

Press the 'SELECT' button to cycle through the supported battery voltage types (1.2V, 1.5V, 3.0V, 3.7V, 9.0V). Ensure the selected voltage matches the battery you are testing for accurate results.

3. Reading the LCD Display

The LCD display provides clear information:

  • Battery Voltage: Shows the current voltage of the tested battery.
  • Battery Status: Indicated by graphical expressions (emojis) and text: GOOD (green), WEAK (yellow), POOR (red).
  • Internal Battery Level: Shows the charge status of the tester's built-in battery.
  • Acoustic Alarm Status: Indicates if the sound reminder is active.

4. Acoustic Alarm Function

The tester includes an acoustic alarm feature:

  • A short 'Di' sound indicates self-test upon power-on.
  • A 'Di' sound confirms battery type selection.
  • A continuous 'Di Di Di' sound alerts you when a poor battery is detected, indicating it needs replacement.

To disable the acoustic alarm, press the 'SELECT' button twice consecutively.

Maintenance
