1. Introduction

4. Setup: Butane Refilling

The TBTeeK Butane Torch is shipped without butane gas. Please follow these steps carefully to refill your torch:

  1. Ensure Safety: Make sure the torch is turned off and the safety lock is engaged.
  2. Invert Torch: Hold the torch upside down.
  3. Select Butane: Use a butane canister with a long nozzle. If your butane canister has a short nozzle, use one of the included adapters.
  4. Insert Nozzle: Firmly insert the butane canister nozzle into the filling port at the base of the torch.
  5. Refill: Press down firmly for 5-10 seconds. You may hear a hissing sound and see liquid butane escaping, which indicates the torch is full.
  6. Wait: After refilling, wait a few minutes for the gas to stabilize before attempting to ignite the torch.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Ignition

  1. Unlock: Slide the safety lock to the "unlock" position (usually to the right).
  2. Ignite: Press the ignition button firmly. The flame should ignite instantly.
  3. Continuous Flame (Optional): To maintain a continuous flame without holding the button, rotate the flame adjustment knob clockwise after ignition.
  4. Turn Off: To turn off the torch, release the ignition button. If continuous flame mode is engaged, rotate the flame adjustment knob counter-clockwise to disengage, then release the ignition button. Slide the safety lock to the "lock" position (to the left) after use.
