4. Product Overview

5. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the dehumidifier and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around the air inlets and outlets for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near walls or furniture that could obstruct air circulation.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Press the Power Button once to turn the dehumidifier ON. The default mode will activate.
• Press the Power Button again to turn the dehumidifier OFF.

6.2 Dehumidification Modes

The PSOS Dehumidifier offers two operating modes:

• Smart Mode: This mode is designed for efficient and fast moisture removal in high humidity conditions. The unit will operate at a higher fan speed to quickly reduce humidity.
• Sleep Mode: For a quiet environment, especially during sleep. The unit operates at a lower fan speed, reducing noise levels to below 28 dB. The LED light will automatically turn off in this mode.

To switch between modes, press the Mode Button on the control panel.

6.3 LED Light Control

The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic 7-color changing LED light:

• Press the Light Button once to activate the automatic 7-color changing cycle.
• Press the Light Button again to lock the light on your favorite color.
• Press the Light Button a third time to turn the LED light OFF.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Emptying the Water Tank

The dehumidifier features an automatic shut-off function. When the water tank is full or incorrectly placed, the unit will stop operating to prevent overflow. The indicator light will signal that the tank needs attention.

1. Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
2. Remove the lid and pour out the collected water.
3. Rinse the water tank with clean water and replace the lid.
4. Slide the water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. Ensure it is properly seated to resume operation.

7.2 Cleaning the Filter

Regular cleaning of the air filter is essential for maintaining the dehumidifier's efficiency and lifespan.

1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
2. Locate the removable filter cover at the back of the unit.
3. Gently pull out the filter.
4. Clean the filter with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust. For heavier dirt, wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
5. Place the clean, dry filter back into the unit and close the cover.

8. Troubleshooting

If your dehumidifier is not operating as expected, please check the following common issues before contacting customer support:

• Unit does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the water tank is full or improperly installed.
• No water collected: Verify that the room temperature and humidity levels are within the operating range (typically above 41°F / 5°C and 40% RH). Ensure air inlets/outlets are not blocked.
• Dehumidification is weak: Clean the air filter. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation.
• Unit is noisy: Check if the unit is on a stable, level surface. Ensure no foreign objects are obstructing the fan.
