Maintenance

Cleaning the Cabinet

Wipe the TV cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TV, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the TV and a working electrical outlet. Try a different outlet.
  • No Picture/Sound: Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections to external devices.
  • Remote Control Not Working: Check the battery orientation and replace batteries if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's IR sensor.
  • Poor Picture Quality: Adjust picture settings (brightness, contrast, sharpness, color). Ensure the content source is high quality. For streaming, check your internet connection speed.
  • No Internet Connection: For Wi-Fi, ensure your router is on and within range. For Ethernet, check the cable connection. Restart your router and TV.
  • Blooming/Halos: While the TCL Halo Control System minimizes these, some content may still exhibit minor effects. Ensure your picture mode is optimized and consider adjusting local dimming settings if available.
