2. Attaching the Collar Receiver

Thread the receiver unit onto the nylon collar strap. Ensure the contact points are facing inwards towards the dog's neck.

3. Fitting the Collar

Proper collar fit is crucial for effectiveness and your dog's comfort. The collar should be snug, allowing two fingers to fit comfortably between the strap and your dog's neck. The contact points must touch the dog's skin. Avoid overtightening.

  • The collar is adjustable for neck circumferences from 6 to 26 inches.
  • Suitable for dogs weighing 8 to 120 pounds.

4. Selecting and Installing Probes

The collar comes with two sizes of metal probes and corresponding silicone covers:

  • Short Probes: Recommended for dogs with short or thin hair.
  • Long Probes: Recommended for dogs with long or dense hair to ensure proper contact with the skin.

Always use the conductive silicone covers over the metal probes to protect your dog's skin and enhance comfort during training.
