4. Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure all setup steps have been completed and you have read the safety guidelines.
4.1 Starting the Pressure Washer
- Ensure the water supply is fully open.
- Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge air from the system until a steady stream of water emerges.
- Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start.
- Release the trigger to allow the motor to build pressure.
4.2 Using Nozzles
The IND2200 comes with four versatile nozzles, each designed for specific cleaning tasks. Always select the appropriate nozzle for the job to prevent damage to surfaces.

Figure 4.1: The four color-coded nozzles (Red 0°, Yellow 15°, Green 25°, White 40°) for various cleaning applications.
- Red (0°): Pin-point jet for stubborn stains and hard-to-reach areas. Use with extreme caution as it can damage surfaces.
- Yellow (15°): Narrow fan spray for intensive cleaning of smaller areas.
- Green (25°): Medium fan spray for general cleaning of most surfaces.
- White (40°): Wide fan spray for gentle cleaning, rinsing, and detergent application.
To change nozzles, ensure the pressure washer is off and the trigger is released. Pull back the collar on the spray gun wand, insert the desired nozzle, and push the collar forward until it locks.
4.3 Applying Detergent
The integrated detergent tank allows for easy application of cleaning solutions.
- Fill the detergent tank with a pressure washer safe cleaning solution.
- Attach the white (40°) nozzle to the spray gun. This nozzle is typically used for detergent application.
- Start the pressure washer and squeeze the trigger. The unit will automatically draw detergent and mix it with the water.
- Apply detergent evenly to the surface. Allow it to soak for the recommended time as per the detergent manufacturer's instructions.
- Rinse the surface thoroughly with a higher pressure nozzle (e.g., 25° or 15°) after detergent application.

- Coil the high-pressure hose and power cord neatly on the integrated reels.
- Store the spray gun and nozzles in their designated holders on the unit.
5.3 Winterization (for cold climates)
If storing the unit in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, it is crucial to winterize the pressure washer to prevent damage.
- Drain all water from the pump, hoses, and spray gun as described above.
- Pour an anti-freeze solution (specifically designed for pressure washers) into the water inlet.
- Briefly turn on the unit (for a few seconds) until the anti-freeze solution exits the high-pressure outlet.
- Turn off the unit and store it in a frost-free location.
