  3. Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start.
  4. Release the trigger to allow the motor to build pressure.

4.2 Using Nozzles

The IND2200 comes with four versatile nozzles, each designed for specific cleaning tasks. Always select the appropriate nozzle for the job to prevent damage to surfaces.

Four color-coded pressure washer nozzles

Figure 4.1: The four color-coded nozzles (Red 0°, Yellow 15°, Green 25°, White 40°) for various cleaning applications.

  • Red (0°): Pin-point jet for stubborn stains and hard-to-reach areas. Use with extreme caution as it can damage surfaces.
  • Yellow (15°): Narrow fan spray for intensive cleaning of smaller areas.
  • Green (25°): Medium fan spray for general cleaning of most surfaces.
  • White (40°): Wide fan spray for gentle cleaning, rinsing, and detergent application.

To change nozzles, ensure the pressure washer is off and the trigger is released. Pull back the collar on the spray gun wand, insert the desired nozzle, and push the collar forward until it locks.

4.3 Applying Detergent

The integrated detergent tank allows for easy application of cleaning solutions.

  1. Fill the detergent tank with a pressure washer safe cleaning solution.
  2. Attach the white (40°) nozzle to the spray gun. This nozzle is typically used for detergent application.
  3. Start the pressure washer and squeeze the trigger. The unit will automatically draw detergent and mix it with the water.
  4. Apply detergent evenly to the surface. Allow it to soak for the recommended time as per the detergent manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Rinse the surface thoroughly with a higher pressure nozzle (e.g., 25° or 15°) after detergent application.
