4. Setup and Installation
Your VEVOR Induction Cooktop offers two installation methods: built-in or countertop use.
4.1 Built-in Installation
For built-in installation, ensure your countertop has a suitable cutout. The required cutout size is 285 x 500 mm (11.2 x 19.7 inches). Leave at least 50mm (2 inches) of space around the unit, with a countertop thickness of at least 30mm (1.2 inches).
- Prepare the countertop opening according to the specified dimensions.
- Ensure proper ventilation underneath the cooktop. Do not install directly above a dishwasher or washing machine.
- Secure the cooktop using the provided mounting brackets and screws.
4.2 Countertop Use
For countertop use, attach the provided rubber feet to the bottom of the unit to ensure stability and proper airflow.
- Attach the rubber feet (42mm high) to the designated points on the underside of the cooktop.
- Place the cooktop on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
4.3 Electrical Connection
The cooktop requires a 220-240V, 60Hz electrical connection. It comes with a 3-wire cable for connection to your home power supply via a junction box. Consult a qualified electrician for proper wiring.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on a cooking zone, rotate the corresponding knob clockwise. The red LED indicator light will illuminate, indicating the zone is active.
- To turn off a cooking zone, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the "OFF" position. The LED indicator will turn off.
5.2 Adjusting Temperature/Power Levels
- The cooktop features 12 power levels. Rotate the knob to select the desired heat setting.
- Each knob independently controls its respective cooking zone.
5.3 Cookware Detection
The induction cooktop will only generate heat when compatible magnetic cookware is placed on the cooking zone. If no compatible cookware is detected, the cooktop will not activate or will shut off automatically.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Cooktop Surface
- Allow the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the glass ceramic surface with a soft cloth and a mild detergent or specialized cooktop cleaner.
- For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive scraper designed for glass cooktops.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that can scratch or damage the surface.
