Introduction

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Press down on the tab and slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Pairing (for Voice Control and Smart Features)

This remote control uses Bluetooth for voice control and certain smart features. For basic TV control (channel, volume, power), it may work directly via infrared. To enable voice control and pointer functions, pairing with your LG TV is required.

1. Turn on your LG TV.
2. Point the remote control towards your TV.
3. Press and hold the Home button and the Back button simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds. The power button LED on the remote may blink.
4. A message should appear on your TV screen indicating that the remote control is pairing.
5. Once paired, the remote is ready for full functionality, including voice commands.

Note: If pairing fails, remove and reinsert the batteries, then try the pairing process again. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.
