3. Setup and Assembly

The Saker 22V Cordless Garden Tiller requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your tiller for use:

  1. Attach the Tines: Carefully align the tines with the internal prongs on the tiller head. Ensure the blade is pushed slightly outward to align with the attachment holes. Secure the tines using the provided pins, flipping the ring down to lock them in place.
  2. Connect the Shaft Sections: Join the main shaft sections, ensuring they click securely into position.
  3. Attach the Auxiliary Handle: Slide the adjustable auxiliary handle onto the shaft and tighten it to your preferred height and angle for comfortable operation.
  4. Insert the Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Slide the battery pack into the designated slot on the main handle until it clicks securely.

Battery Charging:

Before first use, fully charge both 22V 2.0Ah lithium-ion batteries using the provided charger. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and insert the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Always fully recharge batteries before storing the product for extended periods.

4. Operating Instructions

Ensure you have read and understood all safety information before operating the tiller.

Starting the Tiller:

  1. Hold the main handle firmly with one hand and the auxiliary handle with the other.
  2. Press and hold the safety button located on the main handle.
  3. While holding the safety button, squeeze the trigger to start the tines rotating. Release the trigger to stop the tiller.

Tilling Techniques:

  • For best results, work in small sections.
  • Allow the tiller to do the work; do not force it into hard soil. For compacted soil, make several passes, gradually increasing depth.
  • Move the tiller slowly and steadily across the area you wish to cultivate.
  • Be mindful of obstacles such as rocks, roots, and buried objects. The tiller is designed to avoid stone blockage with a 2.7-inch distance between the blade and shell alloyman, but caution is always advised.

5. Maintenance
