Setup
1. Unpacking and Battery Installation
Carefully remove the irrigation controller from its packaging. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device. Insert the required batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Ensure the battery compartment cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
2. Connecting to Faucet
Attach the brass inlet of the irrigation controller to your outdoor faucet. The 360° rotatable connector allows for easy positioning. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. A fiber mesh filter is integrated into the inlet to prevent debris from entering the system.

3. Connecting Hoses to Outlets
Connect your garden hoses to the two independent outlets (Zone A and Zone B) at the bottom of the controller. Ensure these connections are also secure to prevent leaks.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator on the LCD display shows low power, replace the batteries promptly. Open the battery compartment, remove old batteries, and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
2. Cleaning the Filter
Periodically check the fiber mesh filter located in the brass inlet for any debris accumulation. Unscrew the controller from the faucet, remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert it. This prevents blockages and ensures optimal water flow.

3. Winter Storage
Before the first frost, disconnect the irrigation controller from the faucet and hoses. Remove the batteries. Store the unit in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage from freezing water.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No water flow | Faucet is off; Filter is clogged; Hose kinked; Program not active. | Ensure faucet is fully open; Clean the inlet filter; Straighten hoses; Check program status and activate if necessary. |
| Timer not turning on | Dead batteries; Incorrect battery installation. | Replace batteries with new ones; Check battery polarity. |
| Incorrect watering schedule | Incorrect program settings; Rain delay active. | Review and adjust start time, duration, and frequency settings for each zone; Check if rain delay is active and wait for it to expire or deactivate it. |
| Leakage at connections | Loose connections; Worn washers. | Tighten all connections; Replace old or damaged rubber washers. |
| One outlet not closing (continuously flowing) | Valve stuck open (common on first use). | Activate and deactivate the problematic zone once through a short manual cycle (e.g., 1 minute). This should reset the valve. |
