Setup Instructions

1. Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the tilt adjustable stand to the back of the monitor. Align the mounting points and secure with the provided screws using the screwdriver. Ensure the stand is firmly attached.
  3. Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.

2. Connecting the Monitor

The KTC H24F8 monitor offers multiple connection options for various devices.

  • Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the monitor and then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  • HDMI Connection: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your computer or gaming console to one of the HDMI 2.0 ports (FHD 180Hz, overlock 190Hz) on the monitor.
  • DisplayPort Connection: For optimal performance, connect your computer to the DisplayPort 1.4 port (FHD 180Hz, overlock 190Hz) using a DisplayPort cable (not included).

Ensure all cables are securely connected before powering on the monitor and your device.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the power button, typically located on the back or bottom of the monitor, to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.

2. On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The monitor features a joystick control on the back for navigating the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. This menu allows you to adjust various display settings.

  • Navigate: Move the joystick up, down, left, or right to browse menu options.
  • Select: Press the joystick inward to confirm a selection.
  • Exit: Move the joystick left repeatedly to go back or exit the menu.

3. Key Settings and Features

  • Refresh Rate: The monitor supports up to 190Hz refresh rate. Ensure your graphics card settings are configured to utilize the maximum refresh rate for the smoothest experience.
  • Response Time (1ms MPRT): This feature minimizes motion blur. It can be enabled via the OSD menu. Note that MPRT may disable other features like HDR or FreeSync depending on the specific setting.
  • HDR400: For enhanced contrast and color, enable HDR in both the monitor's OSD and your operating system's display settings. The monitor supports HDR400, providing a peak brightness of 400 cd/m².

  • FreeSync Compatibility: This technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. Enable FreeSync in the OSD menu and your graphics card control panel.
  • Eye Care (Low Blue Light & Flicker-Free): These features reduce eye strain during prolonged use. Low blue light filters harmful blue light emissions, and flicker-free technology eliminates screen flickering. These can be toggled in the OSD menu.

  • Color Settings: Adjust brightness, contrast, color temperature, and gamma settings to your preference. The Fast IPS panel provides 133% sRGB color gamut for accurate and vivid colors.

4. KTC MCC Client Adjustment

The monitor supports adjustment via the KTC MCC client software. This software allows for more detailed control over monitor parameters through your PC.

Maintenance and Care
