The SVAN SLCS6201C is a 6 kg capacity top-load washing machine with a maximum spin speed of 1200 rpm, designed for household use. It features 16 washing programs and an electronic control system with an LED display.
2. Safety Instructions

3.1 Components
- Control Panel: For selecting programs and settings.
- Lid: Top-opening for loading and unloading laundry.

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the washing machine for any damage during transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
4.2 Location
Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and access. Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
4.3 Leveling
Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine to ensure it is perfectly stable and level. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibration and noise during operation.
4.4 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4-inch thread. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The drain hose should be securely placed into a standpipe or laundry tub, ensuring it is not kinked.
4.5 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications of the appliance (2100W, 220-240V, 50Hz). Do not use extension cords or adapters.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Before Each Wash
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Check pockets for small objects.
- Close zippers and fasten hooks.
- Load laundry loosely into the drum, ensuring not to overload (maximum 6 kg).
5.2 Adding Detergent
Open the detergent dispenser located in the lid. Add the appropriate amount of detergent and fabric softener according to the manufacturer's instructions and the degree of soiling.
5.3 Program Selection
Turn the program selector dial on the control panel to choose one of the 16 available washing programs. The LED display will show the selected program and estimated time.
Examples of programs include:
- Express 15': Quick wash for lightly soiled items.
- Rapid 45': Faster wash for everyday items.
- ECO 40-60: Energy-efficient program for cottons.
- Intensive: For heavily soiled items.
- Wool: Gentle wash for woolens.
- Rinse and Spin: Rinse and spin cycle.
- Spin Only: Spin only cycle.
5.4 Adjusting Settings
Use the buttons on the control panel to adjust settings such as:
- Temperature (Temp): Adjust wash water temperature.
- Spin Speed (Centrifug): Select desired spin speed (e.g., 600, 800, 1000, 1200 rpm).
- Delayed Start (Diferido): Set a timer for the wash cycle to begin later.
- Stop&Go Function: Allows pausing the cycle to add or remove items.
5.5 Starting the Wash
Press the "Inicio/Pausa" (Start/Pause) button to begin the selected wash program. The machine will automatically proceed through the cycle.
5.6 End of Cycle
Once the program is complete, the machine will signal the end of the cycle. Open the lid and remove your laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles and odors.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your washing machine.
6.1 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Drum Cleaning
The machine features an internal cleaning program to remove detergent residue, mold, and dirt from the drum and door. Run this program periodically.
6.3 Detergent Dispenser
Clean the detergent dispenser regularly to prevent blockages and residue buildup.
6.4 Drain Filter
Periodically check and clean the drain filter, located behind the access panel at the bottom front of the machine. Refer to Figure 3.1 for the location of the access panel. Ensure the machine is unplugged and drain any residual water before opening the filter.
