Setup
1. Power Supply
The weather station can be powered by the included DC5V power adapter or by batteries (not included). The outdoor sensor requires batteries.
- Main Unit: Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) for backup power, or connect the DC5V power adapter to the main unit and a power outlet. For continuous backlight, use the power adapter.
- Outdoor Sensor: Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the outdoor sensor. Ensure correct polarity.

2. Sensor Placement
Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, away from direct sunlight and precipitation, to ensure accurate readings. The wireless transmission range is up to 60 meters (200 feet) in open areas. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that may interfere with the signal.

3. Initial Synchronization
Once both the main unit and the outdoor sensor are powered on, they will automatically attempt to synchronize. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the main unit's display within a few minutes. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.
4. Time and Date Setting (DCF Funkuhr)
The weather station features a DCF radio-controlled clock. It will automatically synchronize with the DCF signal for accurate time and date. This process may take several minutes or hours depending on your location and signal strength. Ensure the unit is placed away from electronic devices that might cause interference.

If manual setting is required, consult the detailed instructions in the included user manual for specific button functions.
