3. Setup Instructions

3.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the watering timer.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert two (2) 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely to maintain the IPX5 waterproof rating.

3.2. Connecting the Timer

1. Ensure the faucet is turned off.
2. Screw the brass inlet of the watering timer onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten only to prevent damage.
3. Connect your garden hoses or irrigation lines to the three independent outlets (A, B, C) at the bottom of the timer. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks.
4. Turn on the faucet. The timer is now ready for programming.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Setting Current Time

1. Press the "NOW" button to enter time setting mode.
2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
3. Press "OK" to confirm each setting.

4.2. Programming Watering Schedules (Zones A, B, C)

Each of the three outlets (A, B, C) can be programmed independently.

1. Select the desired zone (A, B, or C) by pressing the corresponding button ("A", "B", or "C").
2. Set Start Time: Press "START TIME" and use "+"/"-" to set the desired watering start time. Press "OK" to confirm.
3. Set Watering Duration: Press "HOW LONG" and use "+"/"-" to set the watering duration (from 1 second to 360 minutes). Press "OK" to confirm.
4. Set Watering Frequency: Press "HOW OFTEN" and use "+"/"-" to set the frequency (from 1 hour to 23 hours, or 1 day to 15 days). Press "OK" to confirm.
5. Repeat for other zones as needed.

4.3. Manual Watering Mode

To manually water without affecting your programmed schedules:

1. Press the "NOW A/B/C" button.
2. Use "+"/"-" to set the desired manual watering duration.
3. Press "OK" to start manual watering. The timer will run for the set duration and then return to its programmed schedule.

4.4. Rain Delay Function

To temporarily pause scheduled watering during rainy periods:

1. Press and hold the "DELAY" button for 3 seconds.
2. The display will show the delay icon and the next scheduled start time will be updated.
3. To cancel the rain delay, press and hold the "DELAY" button again for 3 seconds.

4.5. Child Lock Function

To prevent accidental changes to settings:

1. Press and hold the "OK" button for 3 seconds to activate the child lock. A lock icon will appear on the screen.
2. To deactivate, press and hold the "OK" button again for 3 seconds.

• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen. Always use fresh 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.
• Filter Cleaning: Periodically check and clean the aluminum alloy filter located at the water inlet to prevent blockages and ensure optimal water flow.
• Winter Storage: Before the first frost, disconnect the watering timer from the faucet and store it indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Remove batteries before storage.
• General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the timer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
