2. Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions during installation, operation, and maintenance of the micro inverter:

  • Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Do not attempt to repair the inverter yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
  • Ensure the inverter is disconnected from all power sources (DC and AC) before performing any service or maintenance.
  • The inverter can become hot during operation. Avoid touching it directly.
  • Do not immerse the inverter in water or expose it to excessive moisture.
  • Ensure proper grounding of the inverter.
  • Keep children away from the inverter and solar installation area.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your Deye Micro Inverter:

3.1 Mounting the Inverter

Mount the inverter in a well-ventilated area, preferably under the solar panel or on a suitable mounting structure. Ensure adequate clearance for air circulation around the unit.

3.3 WiFi Setup

The inverter includes integrated WiFi for monitoring performance. Refer to the separate Deye monitoring app instructions for setting up the WiFi connection and accessing real-time data.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed and connected, the Deye Micro Inverter will automatically begin operation when sufficient sunlight is available to the solar panels. The inverter converts the DC power from the panels into AC power, which is then fed into your home's electrical grid.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)

The inverter utilizes MPPT technology to continuously optimize the power output from your solar panels, ensuring maximum energy harvest even under varying conditions like partial shading or changing temperatures.

5. Maintenance

The Deye Micro Inverter is designed for minimal maintenance. However, regular checks can help ensure optimal performance and longevity:

  • Visual Inspection: Periodically inspect the inverter and all cables for any signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections.
  • Cleaning: Keep the inverter's cooling fins free from dust, dirt, and debris to ensure proper heat dissipation. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly check the inverter's performance via the WiFi monitoring system to identify any anomalies.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ensure the inverter is not exposed to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods if not designed for such exposure. The IP67 rating provides protection against dust and temporary immersion in water.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Deye Micro Inverter, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
