1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Cantonape 1200W/2400W (Peak) Power Inverter. This device converts 12V DC power from your vehicle's battery into 110V/120V AC household power, enabling you to operate various electronic devices on the go. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury, damage to the inverter, or damage to connected devices.
- Ventilation: Ensure the inverter is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block the cooling fan or vents.
- Dry Environment: Keep the inverter away from water, moisture, and rain. Do not operate with wet hands.
- Proper Voltage: Connect the inverter only to a 12V DC power source. Connecting to a 24V or higher DC source will damage the unit.
- Load Capacity: Do not exceed the inverter's continuous power rating of 1200W. The peak power is 2400W for short durations. Overloading can cause damage or fire.
- Polarity: Always connect the battery cables with correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative). Reverse polarity will cause immediate damage.
- Grounding: The inverter should be properly grounded.
- No Disassembly: Do not attempt to open or modify the inverter. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Children and Pets: Keep the inverter out of reach of children and pets.
- Flammable Materials: Do not operate the inverter near flammable liquids, gases, or materials.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to properly connect your power inverter to a 12V DC power source.
- Prepare the Inverter: Place the inverter on a flat, stable surface in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
- Prepare the Battery: Ensure your 12V battery is fully charged and in good condition. Turn off the vehicle engine if connecting to a car battery.
- Connect Cables to Inverter:
- Loosen the red (positive) and black (negative) terminals on the inverter.
- Insert the ring terminal of the red battery cable into the red inverter terminal and tighten securely.
- Insert the ring terminal of the black battery cable into the black inverter terminal and tighten securely.
- Connect Cables to Battery:
- Connect the other end of the red battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of your 12V battery. Tighten securely.
- Connect the other end of the black battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of your 12V battery. Tighten securely.
IMPORTANT: Always ensure correct polarity. Reverse polarity will cause severe damage to the inverter and void the warranty.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Loose connections can cause overheating and poor performance.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the inverter is properly connected, you can begin using it to power your AC and USB devices.
- Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the inverter to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will illuminate, showing the current battery voltage and other parameters.
- Monitor LCD Display: The LCD display provides real-time information:
- Battery Capacity: Indicates the remaining charge in your 12V battery.
- Battery Voltage: Shows the input DC voltage from the battery.
- Output Frequency: Displays the AC output frequency (60Hz).
- Output Voltage: Shows the AC output voltage (110V/120V).
- Load Capacity: Indicates the percentage of the inverter's capacity currently being used by connected devices.
- Connect Devices:
- For AC devices, plug them into the 110V/120V AC outlets.
- For USB devices, connect them to the QC 3.0 USB port or the PD 20W Type-C port.
NOTE: Ensure the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed 1200W continuously.
- Power Off: When you are finished using the inverter, first disconnect all devices, then flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
