1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Chihee Pop-Up Camping Tent. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your tent. Designed for 2-3 persons, this hexagonal tent offers a spacious and comfortable outdoor shelter with an easy pop-up setup, making it ideal for various outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and picnics. Please read these instructions carefully before setup and retain them for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the tent fabric. The tent is made of flammable material and will burn if exposed to an open flame.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially when using heating or cooking appliances inside or near the tent. Carbon monoxide can be deadly.
- Weather Conditions: While the tent is waterproof and windproof, extreme weather conditions (heavy snow, strong winds, severe thunderstorms) may exceed its design limits. Seek alternative shelter in such conditions.
- Site Selection: Choose a level, dry area free from sharp objects. Avoid pitching under trees with dead branches or in areas prone to flash floods.
- Anchoring: Always use all provided guy ropes and ground pegs to secure the tent firmly, especially in windy conditions.
- Children: Do not leave children unattended in or around the tent.

The Chihee Pop-Up Camping Tent features an innovative mechanism for quick and effortless setup. Assembly typically takes approximately 2 minutes.
4.1 Unpacking and Initial Deployment
- Remove the tent from its carry bag and lay it flat on your chosen campsite.
- Unfasten any straps or ties securing the tent in its folded state.
- The tent's internal structure is designed to spring into shape upon release. Gently spread the tent out, and the main frame will begin to expand automatically.

4.2 Securing the Tent
- Once the tent has popped up, ensure all frame joints are fully extended and locked into place.
- Position the tent as desired.
- Use the provided aluminium ground pegs to secure the tent's base to the ground. Insert pegs through the tent's corner loops and any additional pegging points.
- Attach the thickened guy ropes to the designated loops on the tent and rainfly. Extend them outwards at a 45-degree angle and secure them with ground pegs. Adjust tension as needed to ensure stability.
4.3 Awning Porch Setup
The tent includes door posts to create an awning porch:
- Unzip the main door and roll it up or secure it to the side.
- Extend the awning fabric outwards.
- Assemble the door posts and insert them into the grommets on the awning fabric.
- Secure the awning with additional guy ropes and pegs if necessary, ensuring it is taut and stable.

5. Operating Instructions
This section details how to utilize the tent's features for a comfortable experience.

The tent offers an elevated internal top height of 155cm, allowing most users to move freely. A hook is provided inside the tent for hanging camping lights or other lightweight accessories.
6. Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your Chihee tent.
- Cleaning: The tent fabric (polyester) and floor material (Oxford fabric with PU coating) should be hand washed. Use mild soap and cold water. Do not use harsh detergents, bleach, or machine wash. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away. Packing a damp tent can lead to mildew and fabric degradation. Air dry in a shaded area.
- Storage: Store the tent in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the tent for any damage to the fabric, zippers, poles, or seams. Repair minor damage promptly to prevent it from worsening.
7. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Closing/Packing: The tent needs to be folded in a specific way to fit back into its carry bag. Refer to the packing instructions (often reverse of setup) or look for specific folding diagrams if available. Ensure all frame joints are fully collapsed before attempting to fold.
- Water Leakage: While the tent is waterproof, prolonged heavy rain or improper setup can lead to leaks. Ensure the rainfly is correctly positioned and taut. Check for any tears or punctures in the fabric. Seam sealant can be applied to reinforce seams if necessary.
- Tent Instability: Ensure all ground pegs are firmly inserted and all guy ropes are properly tensioned and anchored. In very windy conditions, consider adding extra guy ropes or using heavier-duty pegs.
- Zipper Issues: If zippers snag, gently pull the fabric away from the zipper teeth. Keep zippers clean and lubricated with a silicone-based spray if they become stiff.
