Setup Guide
1. Battery Installation
The PowerA Wireless Controller requires two (2) AA batteries for operation. These are typically included with your purchase. To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the controller.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert two new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.

2. Connecting to Nintendo Switch
The PowerA Wireless Controller connects to your Nintendo Switch console via Bluetooth. Follow these steps to pair your controller:
- From the HOME Menu on your Nintendo Switch, select Controllers, then Change Grip/Order.
- While the screen shows "Press L + R on the controller," press and hold the SYNC Button on the top of your PowerA Wireless Controller for at least one second. The Player LED(s) will flash.
- Once paired, the Player LED(s) corresponding to the controller number will remain lit.

1. Controller Layout and Functions
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and their functions:
- Left/Right Analog Sticks: For precise movement and camera control.
- D-Pad: For directional input, especially in 2D games or menu navigation.

2. Motion Controls

Troubleshooting
- Controller not pairing:
- Ensure the controller has fresh batteries. Verify that the Nintendo Switch is in "Change Grip/Order" mode. Press and hold the SYNC button on the controller for at least one second. If issues persist, try restarting your Nintendo Switch console.
- Input lag or disconnection:
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the controller and the Nintendo Switch console. Move closer to the console. Check for other wireless devices that might cause interference. Replace batteries if they are low.
- Motion controls not working:
- Confirm that the game you are playing supports motion controls. Recalibrate motion controls within the Nintendo Switch system settings if necessary.
- Low battery warning:
