4. Setup

4.1 Blade Installation and Adjustment

The machine comes with four blades preinstalled. You can adjust the cutting width by adding or removing blades (up to a maximum of 7 blades with a 133mm diameter). Always ensure the machine is unplugged before performing any blade adjustments.

  1. Unplug the machine from the power source.
  2. Use the provided wrench to loosen the blade retaining nut.
  3. Carefully remove or add diamond alloy blades as required for your desired cutting width. Ensure spacers are correctly placed between blades.
  4. Tighten the blade retaining nut securely.

4.2 Adjusting Cutting Depth

The cutting depth can be adjusted using the base plate mechanism. Refer to the markings on the machine for precise depth settings.

  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Locate the depth adjustment lever or knob.
  3. Adjust the base plate to achieve the desired cutting depth (maximum 1.6 inches).
  4. Secure the adjustment mechanism.

4.3 Water Pump and Dust Hose Connection

For wet cutting and dust suppression, connect the water pump and hose.

  1. Connect one end of the dust-absorbing hose to the machine's water inlet port.
  2. Connect the other end of the hose to the water pump.
  3. Place the water pump in a container of clean water.
  4. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

Alternatively, for dry cutting, an external vacuum cleaner (not included) can be connected to the dust extraction port to minimize airborne dust.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Pre-Operation Checklist

  • Ensure all safety instructions have been read and understood.
  • Verify blades are correctly installed and tightened.
  • Confirm desired cutting depth and width are set.
  • If wet cutting, ensure water pump is submerged and connected. If dry cutting, ensure vacuum is connected.
  • Wear all required PPE.

5.2 Starting the Machine

  1. Plug the machine into a 110V power outlet.
  2. Position the machine on the workpiece, ensuring the blades are clear of the surface before starting.
  3. Press the power switch to turn on the machine. Allow the blades to reach full speed before engaging the workpiece.

5.3 Cutting Operation

  • Apply steady, even pressure to guide the machine along the desired cutting line. Do not force the tool.
  • Maintain a firm grip on both handles. The front handle can be rotated 180° and the rear handle 90° to accommodate different cutting angles and user comfort.
  • For wet cutting, ensure the water pump is active to provide continuous water flow to the blades, which helps cool them and suppress dust.
  • The removable dust-proof protective cover allows for 360-degree cutting without dead angles.
  • After completing the cut, release the power switch and allow the blades to stop completely before lifting the machine from the workpiece.
