4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. The built-in 1300mAh battery provides approximately 4 hours of continuous use.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once charging is complete.

4.2 Inserting the Memory Card

The camera requires a Micro SD card to store photos and videos. A 32GB card is included.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down, until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove the card, push it in gently until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.

4.3 Loading Print Paper

The TIATUA X2 uses thermal print paper for instant black-and-white prints. No ink cartridges are required.

  1. Push up the part with the lens to open the paper slot cover.
  2. Insert a roll of thermal print paper into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the end of the roll is facing upwards.
  3. Pull out approximately 1 inch of paper from the slot.
  4. Close the paper slot cover firmly until it clicks into place.

  1. Turn on the camera. It will typically default to photo mode.
  2. Frame your shot using the 2.4-inch display screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button to take a photo. The image will be saved to the Micro SD card.

5.3 Recording Videos

The camera supports 1080P HD video recording.

  1. From the main menu, navigate to video mode using the navigation buttons and press OK.
  2. Press the Shutter button to start recording. A timer will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording. The video will be saved to the Micro SD card.

5.4 Instant Printing

After taking a photo, you can instantly print it in black and white.

  2. The camera will automatically print the photo. If not, navigate to the photo in playback mode and select the print option.
