1. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Use only high-quality, triple-refined or higher butane gas. Impure butane can damage the torch and affect performance.
  • Keep out of reach of children. This torch includes a child safety lock.
  • Do not drop, puncture, or incinerate.
  • Do not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 120°F (49°C).
  • Ensure proper ventilation when using the torch.
  • Do not use near sparks, open flames, or other ignition sources.
  • Allow the torch to cool completely before storing or performing maintenance.

3. Setup

3.1 Refilling the Butane Tank

  1. Ensure the torch is turned off and cooled down.
  2. Invert the torch and locate the refill valve at the bottom.
  3. Press the nozzle of a butane gas canister firmly into the refill valve.
  4. Hold for approximately 10-15 seconds until the tank is full. A full 0.7 oz (20 ml) tank provides up to 70 minutes of use on low or 30 minutes on high.
  5. Wait a few minutes after refilling before igniting to allow the gas to stabilize.

3.2 Attaching the Base Stand

  • The torch comes with a detachable base stand for hands-free operation.
  • Align the bottom of the torch handle with the opening of the base stand.
  • Gently push the torch into the stand until it is securely seated.
  • To remove, pull the torch firmly upwards from the base.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Ignition

  1. Ensure the child safety lock is disengaged (moved to the 'unlock' position).
  2. Press and hold the ignition button. The torch will self-ignite.
  3. To extinguish the flame, release the ignition button.

4.2 Flame Adjustment

  • Use the flame adjusting lever (located on the side of the torch) to increase or decrease the flame intensity and length.
  • Slide the lever towards '+' for a stronger, longer flame, and towards '-' for a smaller, more precise flame.

4.3 Continuous Flame Lock

  • For continuous operation, press the ignition button and then slide the continuous flame lock into position.
  • To turn off the continuous flame, disengage the lock and release the ignition button.

4.4 Child Safety Lock

  • The child safety lock prevents accidental ignition.
  • To engage the lock, slide it to the 'lock' position. The ignition button will be disabled.
  • To disengage, slide it to the 'unlock' position.

6. Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect the torch for any signs of damage or leaks.
  • Keep the nozzle clean and free of debris to ensure optimal flame performance.

  • Always use high-quality butane to prevent clogging and ensure longevity of the torch.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Torch not igniting: Ensure the butane tank is filled and the child safety lock is disengaged. Check for any obstructions in the nozzle.
  • Flame is weak or inconsistent: The butane tank may be low, or the nozzle might be partially clogged. Refill the tank or clean the nozzle. Ensure high-quality butane is used.
  • Flame dies out quickly: This could indicate low butane levels or impurities in the butane. Refill with high-quality, triple-refined butane.
