1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the advwin BS-101 3-in-1 Ice Maker & Water Dispenser. This versatile appliance is designed to provide bullet ice, crushed ice, and cold water, making it ideal for various settings including homes, offices, parties, and RVs. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.

2. Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials and tape.
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in, especially if it was transported horizontally. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
5.2 Initial Cleaning
- Open the top lid and remove the ice storage bin and any internal components.
- Clean the interior of the water tank, ice storage bin, and ice crusher box with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
5.3 Water Filling
The unit offers two ways to fill water:

Manual Refill:
- Open the top lid.
- Pour fresh, potable water directly into the water tank until it reaches the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
External Water Source (Automatic Refill):
- Connect the provided PE hose and adapter to the designated water inlet port on the back of the unit.
- Connect the other end of the hose to a potable water supply.
- Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks. The unit will automatically draw water as needed.
5.4 Initial Ice Production
To ensure the best tasting ice, it is recommended to run the ice maker for a few cycles and discard the first two batches of ice. This helps remove any residual flavors from manufacturing.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
- Plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on. The POWER indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the unit off.
6.2 Making Bullet Ice
- Ensure the water tank is filled. If the ADD WATER indicator is on, add water.
- Press the ICE CUBES button. The unit will begin the ice-making cycle.
- The unit produces 12 ice cubes in approximately 6 minutes.
- When the ice storage bin is full, the ICE FULL indicator will illuminate, and the unit will pause ice production.
- To dispense bullet ice, place a glass under the ice outlet and press the POUR ICE button.

6.3 Making Crushed Ice
- Open the top lid and rotate the lid open to access the ice crushing box.
- Pour bullet ice into the ice crushing box.
- Close the lid securely.
- Place a glass under the ice outlet.
- Press the CRUSH ICE button. The unit will begin crushing the ice and dispensing it into your glass.

6.4 Dispensing Cold Water
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Place a glass under the water outlet.
- Press the POUR WATER button. Cold water will be dispensed.

7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.
7.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: Remove and empty the drip tray regularly. Wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
7.2 Weekly/Bi-Weekly Cleaning
- Ice Storage Bin & Water Tank: Unplug the unit. Remove the ice storage bin. Drain any remaining water from the tank using the drainage hose. Clean the water tank and ice storage bin with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Ice Crusher Box: Clean the internal ice crusher box as well, ensuring no ice residue remains.
- Interior Surfaces: Wipe down all interior surfaces that come into contact with water or ice.
7.3 Descaling (Monthly or as needed)
Mineral deposits from water can build up over time. Descale your unit regularly to prevent buildup and maintain efficiency.
- Unplug the unit and drain all water.
- Prepare a descaling solution (e.g., a mixture of water and white vinegar, or a commercial descaling agent suitable for ice makers). Follow the descaling agent's instructions for mixing ratios.
- Pour the solution into the water tank.
- Plug in the unit and run a few ice-making cycles with the descaling solution. Discard all ice produced during this process.
- Drain the descaling solution completely.
- Rinse the water tank and internal components thoroughly with clean water several times to remove any descaling residue. Run a few cycles with fresh water and discard the ice to ensure no taste remains.
7.4 Storage
If the unit will not be used for an extended period:
- Unplug the unit and drain all water from the tank.
- Clean and dry all internal and external surfaces thoroughly.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
