1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Auveach Automatic Pet Feeder F19-L. This device is designed to provide scheduled meals for your pets, ensuring they receive fresh food even when you are away. 2. Safety Information

  • Always keep the feeder on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • This appliance is intended for use with pets only. Do not allow children to play with the feeder.
  • Use only 3 AA batteries (not included) for power. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Do not immerse the main unit (containing the electronic components) in water. Only the food tray and lid are dishwasher safe.
  • Ensure the lid is securely locked to prevent pets from accessing food prematurely or tampering with settings.
  • Regularly inspect the feeder for any damage. Discontinue use if damaged.
  • Do not use the feeder for aggressive chewers, as they may damage the unit.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Verify that all parts are present: main feeder unit, food tray (ABS or stainless steel), lid, and two ice packs.
  3. Remove any protective films or packaging materials.

4.2 Battery Installation

  1. Turn the main feeder unit upside down.
  2. Locate the battery compartment cover and open it.
  3. Insert 3 new AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.3 Ice Pack Preparation and Placement

  1. Place the two included ice packs in a freezer for at least 6-8 hours until completely frozen.
  2. Once frozen, place the ice packs into the designated slots at the bottom of the feeder unit, beneath the food tray.

4.4 Tray Installation

  1. Ensure the main unit is clean and the ice packs are in place.
  2. Align the food tray with the central rotating mechanism and gently press it down until it sits securely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

The feeder automatically powers on once batteries are installed. To conserve battery life, the display will dim after a period of inactivity but the timer will continue to run.

5.2 Setting the Current Time

  1. Press and hold the 'SET' button until the hour digit flashes.
  2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press 'SET' again to move to the minute digit, then adjust with '+' and '-'.
  4. Press 'SET' to confirm the time. You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format by pressing and holding the '+' button during time setting.

5.3 Programming Feeding Times (Up to 6 Meals)

  1. Press the 'SET' button once to enter the feeding schedule setting mode (P1 will flash).
  2. Use '+' and '-' to set the desired hour for the first meal (P1).
  3. Press 'SET' to move to the minute setting for P1, then adjust.
  4. Press 'SET' to confirm P1 and move to P2. Repeat steps for up to 6 meals (P1-P6).
  5. To disable a meal time, set its time to 'OFF' using the '+' or '-' buttons.
  6. After setting all desired meal times, press 'SET' repeatedly until the display returns to the current time. The feeder will now dispense food at the programmed times.

5.4 Filling Compartments

  1. Open the lid by sliding the lock mechanism.
  2. Fill each compartment with the desired amount of wet or dry pet food, up to 200ml per slot.
  3. Ensure food does not overfill the compartments or obstruct the rotating mechanism.
  4. Close the lid securely and engage the lock mechanism.

5.5 Manual Feeding

To dispense a meal manually, press the 'MANUAL' button. The tray will rotate one position, dispensing the next meal. This will not affect the programmed schedule.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your pet feeder.

6.1 Disassembly for Cleaning

  1. Ensure the feeder is turned off or remove batteries before cleaning.
  2. Remove the lid.
  3. Gently lift the food tray from the main unit.
  4. Remove the ice packs from their slots.

6.2 Cleaning Components

  • Food Tray and Lid: These parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembly.
  • Main Feeder Unit: Wipe the exterior and the central rotating mechanism with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or allow water to enter the battery compartment or electronic components.
  • Ice Packs: Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

6.3 Reassembly

Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the feeder by following the disassembly steps in reverse order.

6.4 Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator on the LED display shows low power, replace all 3 AA batteries with new ones. The time memory function will retain your settings for a short period during battery replacement.

7. Troubleshooting
